Corgi Crush

We are a Christian, veteran family owned, natural breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis in Maryland.

Corgi Crush is a new family and veteran owned business that breeds and raises Corgis naturally and holistically. After researching the history and reasons for the docking of tails, we decided not to follow the trend of docking the tails of our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. Although this is against the AKC standards, we believe that it is important for us to take a stand against this outdated pract

ice that doesn't serve a purpose other than cosmetic and breed competition standards. Our mom and dad pups are from healthy AKC bloodlines, we just chose to breed these puppies all naturally and we know that this will be a sacrifice since we won't be able to register them as AKC. We make homemade, whole foods to feed our puppies a healthier diet than processed unnatural foods sold at stores.

This most handsome Pembroke Welsh Corgi is available for a new loving forever home.
If it were up to me, I would choose him, but we cannot safely keep him with his dad, alpha male, stud, unless we can train Brutus quickly. We are working towards it, but I wanted to get the word out just in case. He's so lovable.

Rupert (Rupee or Rupe Rupe!) is 8 months old. Born early Easter morning. 4-9-2023.

He is sweet, loyal, playful, eager to please and willing to be trained. He's learning to play with other dogs.
Great with kids. Not great with chickens.

Like all dogs, he needs to be with his person/family most of the time. So if you are not a stay at home person, or you can't bring him with you, then this isn't the pup for you.

So I've been really busy with my kids, home, and fall activities , but this Corgi Crush Puppy Meet up Day was a fun event.

Keira just wanted to be with me during her labor, and she was happy that I stayed with her during the whole process. At 7 puppies near midnight, I snoozed off for a couple of hours, and woke up to the following 3 puppies.

There have been a bunch of people asking to be notified when we have another litter.

The countdown is on... in 60 days or so , we should have another litter of puppies from Keira and Brutus!

Her tail is so beautiful. I am glad we decided against docking the tails of all our Corgi Crush puppies.

Dolly is so sweet. She definitely sees me as her constant companion. You can see she is waiting for me to go here. Mom why are we just sitting here? She was tired from our adventure with the kids, but still wanted to keep going.

She stays with me 80 % of the time , all on her own. She needs a leash and training when she sees another dog because she gets so excited. I working on training her to be quiet too because Corgis love being vocal, sometimes way too much.

I know Samuel Adams has a special future family somewhere. He is a total fun ball. We've started training, and he loves it. "Yes!" Who wants Sammy to be their best buddy?

This little runt is the last of our litter that needs a furever home.
Samuel Adams (goes by Sammy)
3 month old, male, born on Easter.
He is active, loves to adventure, and loves playing with other dogs.
He Is socialized with all ages.
Has been in training to sit.
He is crate trained for bed time and sleeps thru the night.
Partially potty trained. We watch him for clues in the house, but has an accident if no one is watching.

Samuel Adams loves to play, be with people, he is one of the smallest boys of the bunch, but he has a big personality. He is adventurous and can be slightly temperamental when he is tired.

Abigail is sweet, tender, slightly reserved, but still loves people. She wears her heart on her shoulder. She would do wonderful with all ages.

They both are crate trained for bed time 💤,
can sit for a treat 🥓,
And we are still working on potty training 💩.

Flea Update!

We were not getting the results we needed with only apple cider vinegar and dish soap. I would bath the pups for 20 minutes, working diligently to get their coats soaked and lathered. After their baths I would put them in my lap and check for fleas. So many of th fleas were still alive! It felt like an uphill battle because sure I could pick them off and kill them individually by hand all day every day. But that is a full time job and I have kids and a home to care for. I needed to kill the fleas in the bath!

So I went back to my crunchy roots and got out my essential oils.

What's the perfect potion?

10 -15 drops of each essential oil put into my 50/50 water and dish soap mix.

I chose to use Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Frankincense.

Whoa! These fleas are dying within seconds.

My struggles with fleas will be over soon.

I have been flea combing each puppy daily. Their coats are thick, but we can still get thru.

The results are...
2 weeks ago there were 15-20 fleas
1 week ago: 10-15 fleas
A few days ago less than 10
Yesterday: 5 or less
Today: 1 or 2

We also closed our backyard. It was the flea market.
I'm so glad we are getting thru this and soon passed it.

Hamilton, now Rex, is this sweet young ladies bff. Although he belongs to their neighbor, it was true love at first sight, and they will have plenty of time to spend together.
