Giant Texas Whitetail on a floor pedestal with Texas habitat.
This deer was born with an abnormality in its nose. It was not a wound or scare as seen by the hairline inside the nose.

This whitetail is a Nebraska GIANT !! 10" bases around the bases of the burs.

This was a taxidermy RE-MOUNT. There was quite a bit of work involved with bringing this ol bruin back to par. Re-setting the eyes, building a new nose, patching bald spots in the fur, totally re-doing the inside and outside paint scheme on the mouth, and just a really good clean up job on the fur and overall look of the bear. I think it really pops now. I added some saliva to the mouth for a more realistic touch. I don't usually do a lot of re-mounts but this one was fun to bring back to show room quality.
