Solara’s journey began in June 2022 when she arrived at MCACC as a stray wearing a prong collar. She waited for her family to come looking for her, but they never did. 😞In November, she was pulled from the e-list and has spent her time since at in Phoenix boarding facility.

Solara is a three-year-old spayed bully/lab retriever mix (55 lbs.) who can brighten up 🕶 anyone’s day with her affectionate demeanor and playful personality 💛. Volunteers call her a social butterfly because she’s the happiest being around people and will shower you with love 🥰. During our time together, Solara has demonstrated great walking skills - loose leash, minimal pulling, attentive to handler, takes gently and knows “sit” “down” as well as vocal cues. She has shown no reactivity while passing other dogs on walks, however, Solara needs to be your one and only pet in the home. She has an affiliative personality whose favorite hobbies include belly rubs 💗, wiggling on the grass and playing with squeaky toys/tennis balls 🧸🎾. Solara would make a great walking, jogging or hiking partner 🌼 as well as a great cuddle buddy on the couch.

Taffy is as sweet as Halloween candy 🎃🍬. She was saved from MCACC’s euthanasia list in December 2022 and has been waiting ever since in a boarding facility dreaming of a foster or forever home! 💭🏡

Taffy is a three-year-old, white and black pitbull terrier mix who is as sweet has her name 🍭! She is a bit of a social butterfly 🦋 and is happiest being around people. Taffy will lean into pets and will present her stomach for belly rubs 🥰. She loves going on walks, playing with toys, splashing in the pool and having bursts of zoomies in the yard. Taffy knows “sit” and is eager to learn more as she is very food motivated 🥓 – she takes treats gently too! Lola is 3 yrs old, she is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, loves kids all ages, knows sit and shake, is very sweet, loves lots of pets, enjoys going in the kiddie pool. Lola is so loving and sweet, 😍she walks great on the leash, listens well. She knows her basic commands. She has the cutest little talk when she gets excited!!
