The GBVMA was a non-profit, member organization established in 1955 to provide the highest quality continuing education to the veterinary community.

As of 2023, the association is no longer in existence. The Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association is a non-profit, member organization established in 1955 to provide the highest quality continuing education to the veterinary community of Maryland. The objective of the GBVMA is “to do all things necessary and desirable to further high standards of care in the treatment of animals and cont

inuing standards of excellence in the professional training and continuing education of doctors of veterinary medicine.” (GBVMA Constitution Article II, Sec 1, P 4)

We are pleased to announce the return of the GBVMA CE Lecture
Season starting September 2021!

This past year has been difficult for all or us, but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Recently, Governor Hogan lifted the order restricting the attendance at large gatherings in the State of Maryland. Due to this latest development, the GBVMA is able to resume operations and we have started to put together a 2021-2022 lecture season. We will, however, continue to monitor State and Federal guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety protocols and will work with the DoubleTree by Hilton to ensure that all requirements and recommendations are met.

We will email lecture and registration information to you later this summer. You can also check our website, www.gbvma.org, for updates.

We are excited to be back and look forward to seeing everyone in September!
