Have you ever seen (and heard) a beaver eating a banana? Bea has discovered bananas and loves them! Hope you enjoy the sounds.
Here’s a good video of Bea being lazy. We get a lot of requests for post of her feet. Well, this is what happens when you try to take video of her back feet…the lazy beaver falls asleep in your arms. We did manage to get a good look at her teeth though!!❤️🦫
Bea is trying so hard to bring the carrot and the pear into the bathroom at the same time. Eventually, she settles on taking one at a time. ❤️🦫
Let’s see how quickly you can find Bea in this video. She’s somewhere in the stream. Bet it takes you a while. ❤️🦫
Here’s a throwback video featuring Beave walking through the door up at the lake house. We hope he is out there, somewhere, living his best life. #beaver
Here’s more of Bea swimming in the little pond. And, even a few squeaks from her too. She is growing a little each day!
When you’re a baby beaver and you eat a full meal and suddenly get very sleepy and just need a place to take a nap. 🦫💤
This is the first video of Bea using the doggie door to go outside. If you remember, Beave used the doggie door all the time. However, he used it to come inside not outside. Great job, Bea!
Bea has started to dig in the mud at the bottom of the little pond. Do you remember when Beave started to do that? She also loves to swim around the kayak, just like Beave too!!
This is Big Mama. She is an Eastern Water Snake. She has been living in the small pond for 7 years now. She’s a little over 2 feet long. She’s wild, but comfortable around us. We keep our distance and she stays close by. Here you can see Bea has found Beave’s old den that he built while he was in the small pond…and the goose is never far behind too.
Bea is starting to play more and more. She has definitely found enjoyment out of playing with toilet paper in the bathroom. We don’t think this bathroom is going to hold up to another beaver rehab, but I guess we will see.
Bea is discovering household items and starting to play with them. Here you can see her getting into the toilet paper roll and causing some destruction. Seems like not long ago we had another beaver who loved to get into trouble too.
Bea has taken to the water very nicely. This is the same lake that Beave learned to swim in. Bea seems to really like the water and has a little more confidence swimming then Beave did at this age.
We just wanted to give a quick update on the new beaver’s progress. He’s adjusting very well to his new surroundings. He’s very healthy and he’s even started eating grapes. Beave loved grapes and apparently so does the little guy too. We can’t say thank you enough to all the followers who have reached out to us to welcome the new baby. We will continue to post more videos as he settles in. 🦫❤️
We just received a beaver kit from another rehabber that didn’t have the facility to take care of him. He’s about a month old and seems to be very healthy. We will now begin the process of rehabbing him. Welcome to Raising The Wild, little guy!!
The goose continues to work on his swimming in the stream. As you can see, he gets very excited when he finally gets in. Now, if we can just get him to stay upright and not go bottoms up he’ll be just fine.
