Good morning to all my wonderful customers!!

Wanted to let you know that I am back in the shop full time and will be doing all grooming!! It’s been a rocky 8 months and I need to take care of you all again!!
I apologize if anyone’s dogs have not been properly done, it’s really really hard to find a good groomer!!

With prices in place, this is only a starting point. Price depends on dogs behavior, coat thickness, a matted coat, fleas, how much coat blows out and appointment frequency.

Good Morning‼️
As most of my customers know, I’m back in the shop grooming full time and we have also had complete staff changes. I’m teaching a new girl to groom, her name is Maddie Clark!! She originally was a riding student and then needed a job and has had dog experience before.
With this being said, please be patient with us with grooming. If we have groomed your dog and it’s not exactly perfect just let us know. Everyone has to start somewhere and that’s how we learn by our wonderful customers!! Maddie is really stepping up and learning the breeds and the fur babies that come in. I’m super proud of her‼️Hair grows and we can fix it or make changes in the next groom!

We try to educate customers on this daily!!

As the weather warms up you might be tempted to shave or clip down your Australian Shepherd to keep them cool.

STEP AWAY FROM THE CLIPPERS!

Science has proven that double coated (guard or top coat and undercoat which is fluffy and soft) breeds should not be clipped down but should instead be kept throughly brushed to remove the dead undercoat. The undercoat is vital in keeping your Australian Shepherd warm in the winter AND cool in the summer. If you shave them, they’re unable to regulate their heat naturally which makes them more susceptible to heat stroke and sunburn to the skin.

Instead, grab a regular metal comb and “line comb” the dog to remove dead undercoat. Go slowly.. line by line down to the skin. This will help your dog keep itself cooler and reduce shedding in your home!

Hello!! If you are a customer and want a reminder for your upcoming appointment, you can always message the FB Critter Cuts page and we will set the appointment reminder up the day before.

Also make sure your information is updated when you drop your pet off with us so we can call or text you for reminders.

Lastly, this was enforced all last year, if you miss an appointment and do not give a 24 hour notice, there is a charge of $25 on the next appointment. We can usually get appointments in the same week unless it’s later in the week. We always take new customers but our day is scheduled with how big or small, how much coat and what the breed the dog is. So please respect this fee. We do give reminder calls the day before.
We also have a new text number, 828-384-4760 feel free to call or text this number for appointments..
