🦄Why it’s important to let your kid fill their horse’s water bucket, help with feed time and do their own tacking🦄

Allowing your child’s horse to come out of the stable fully tacked excludes them from the true joys of horsemanship. Taking care of a horse teaches a child responsibility. Feeding their own horse gives them a sense of accountability and helps them explore what it is to nurture and take care of an animal. Grooming the horse before a session allows for special bonding time – and after riding taking their horse for a walk allows both of them to reflect on the workout. There is a lot more to horsemanship than getting into the saddle – make sure your child gets to reap the joys and benefits in and out of the saddle.

Are you looking for a night out to enjoy yourselves? Look no further. Boulder Ridge Stables is hosting there first ever Parents Night Out.

Let your kid come to the barn for a night and enjoy the horses, food, and a dance glow party. We will enjoy some time with the horses with riding and brushing, and then have some crazy fun here.
