It’s that time again and I can’t wait to go. New things to learn , shop new products, learn new hairstyles, and let’s do a little bit of competing this year.. So I will be closed on Saturday
October 7, 2023 . Also if any of my clients are interested in having me pick up any of the Brushes that I use this is the place for me to get them . Will be no problem at all.
Hope everyone understands that I wait all year for this to happen so I do like to go it does benefit everyone I think.

As I write this post it might be a little bit long but, well it’s for a very special person Cindy Wood and her fur baby Sassie. She was almost one of my first set of clients when I opened my shop back in 2005. Sassie was a puppy and always in at 7:30am and home by 8:30am and had free run of the shop just because she could. She was always there every 2 weeks no matter what. Fast forward to the this past Tuesday when momma called with the news that she thought it was finally her time. My heart is broken for her so I had her bring her in on Wednesday so she get a final Spa Day. Sassie and I always had a special connection during those times. For 2 hours I brushed her petted her held her and the other thing she loved was being sang to. So if you are a client of mine or just someone reading this please know that as groomers we get emotionally and physically attached to your pets and are honored to this for you and them in their final days. The pictures I am posting are the ones I took of Sassie getting blow dried and on my grooming table just hours before I said good bye. Love your babies. And be kind to your groomers because you never know what they just went through that week. Sassie we will see each other again and when Jingle Bells play I will be thinking of you.

Honey was back today and we decided she needed some more flare to her tail so I decided to do a couple of my favorite colors and also her daughter’s as well. It was a BIG HIT !! 🎉🎉💜💜💗💗

This is Cassie aka momma in my shop. This post is a Tribute to her. Her momma & dad The Kohut’s had to say goodbye to her yesterday she was 15 years old. And I have had the honor of being her groomer the entire time. Her breed is a Tibetan Terrier and in most of all the pictures I posted are of her in her full show coat. Yes, she was a show dog and she knew it to. Lol I had the pleasure early on to go to her shows and help out with her and her other girl Aunt Abby who they lost last year.😢 the other pictures are of her just a couple months ago when her mom decided to take the show coat shorter. Boy was that a day. Cassie felt so good afterwards we couldn’t believe she had a belly under there. lol
My heart is broken 💔 and sad those are a lot of precious years. Please hug those babies tight for all of us tonight.
