Sweet dreams! Just a reminder I am doing daycare and boarding :) space is limited and some days are already maxed out during the next two months.
Daycare is 9-5 ( drop off should be between 8-9am, pickup 5-6pm) and $20/dog.
Boarding is for overnight as well and is $35/dog ( dropoff/pickup preferred same time frame as daycare)

I've been getting a lot of puppies in recently and I try to educate people on the best care for their dog. Unfortunately I don't often get listened to, so here's my little soapbox and hopefully it'll educate somebody whether it's one of my clients or not.
Puppies should start getting groomed at 8 weeks. Not full grooms - bath. Getting used to being brushed. Getting used to being brushed started listening to the blow dryer or getting blow-dried with a human hair dryer. They also should have had at least one set of shots at that point. vaccines are done every 4 weeks, Puppy grooming should also be done about every 4 weeks. Personally, I like to put at least a couple days in between vaccines and grooming just so they're not sore and so their immunity starts building. I schedule puppies first thing of the day so that there's less cross with other dogs, even though I do disinfect between everybody
I'm unfortunately getting a lot of people in that think their few months old puppy is going to be able to handle a full groom. That's like asking a toddler to sit still for balayage and perm. It's too much for a baby to handle. It's too dangerous for a baby to handle. If they haven't ever been introduced to grooming forcing a groom on a baby is going to cause them be scared or hate it for the next 15 to 20 years of their life and dogs that are too hard to handle. End up having to be sedated every single time at the vet and it's a big headache and not good for them.
To reiterate, start getting your baby used to grooming at 8 weeks. Get their shots done. Schedule their grooming for the week after. Prepare for it to just be a bath and getting used to the process for the first couple of times. By about 4 months to 6 months they will be ready for a first full groom. From 8 weeks up until then It's just bath packages. Maybe mini grooms if they tolerate it...making this a good experience so that you can set up something good for the whole rest of their lives and Also you don't wind up with a matted dog.
Start getting them used to getting their teeth brushed! I do not do that with my groom packages, but I see so many dogs in with awful teeth ( me brushing their teeth every 1-4 months is useless ) Bad teeth leads to a bad heart leads to a septic dog. Eventually it will kill them. I do look over a dog when I groom it. I'll tell you if I find any problems with their health. If I say it needs to go to a vet, you can pretty much trust that it really does need to see a vet. I've been grooming for 12 years. I've been a vet tech for 21 years. I know what I'm looking at. If I think it's serious. It's serious. I've got to the point I won't push it anymore but if I tell you there's a problem and you don't get it seen. I don't want to hear when it comes to a head. And depending on the problem, I will refuse to groom the dog if it's too dangerous for them to be here.

I'm currently booked a few weeks out but as clientele grows more day and hour availability will open up to accommodate. So there will be a transition hopefully soon to do so!

We will be taking Faye back tomorrow to the resident who was feeding her on their property since no one has stepped up to adopt her.
The resident is a loving woman who feeds and cares for a small colony, so Faye will have a great life. All of her strays are gorgeous and well cared for! We were just hoping she could get adopted and become a family cat!

No large dogs for grooming or boarding
Not taking on new standard/med doodles or cocker spaniels. Mini doodles ( will be less than 40lbs full grown ) are ok.

What it Includes : bath in all natural shampoo/conditioner, brush, blow dry, ear cleaning, nail trim, bow/bandana, natural cologne. Extra charge for long haired dogs (more than 2 inches coat)
-small dogs shorthaired-$20 example: chihuahua, dachshund, Frenchies, already shaved yorkies
- medium dogs shorthaired-$25 beagle, Bostonβs, already shaved shihtzus
- large dogs short haired- $30 basset, pitbull, walker hound etc
πΆ A Mini groom is bath pkg PLUS trim/ clean up feet face f***y add $10 to what ever the bath pkg price was. This is a great option if you have for ex. A shihtzu that gets shaved every once in awhile, it's a tidy up and you can lengthen the time between shave downs.
πFull grooms include bath/mini groom plus a FULL BODY haircut or trim.
- $40 tiny dogs- ex. yorkies, dachshunds, chihuahuas, small terriers or small dogs with alopecia.
- $45 small dogs-ex. shihtzu, cavalier, mini schnauzer, mini poodle, Bichons
- $50 medium dogs- ex. cockers, am. Eskimo, mini Aussie, corgi, shelties
********Add on to groom price ********
-Flea treatment ( capstar and flea bath) $15 for any size dog
-deshed $20 (double bath, extra blowout time and brushing)
- No show- $20 per dog before scheduling next appt. ( this includes cancelling with less than 12 hrs notice. I donβt have time to refill that spot)
- Late pickup - $10/hr past agreed upon pickup time ( ex- small dogs take 1 hr- appt at 9, done at 10, after 11 itβs $10/hr)
- Dogs that go longer than 3 months between grooms are harder to get done safely because they are not used to the process and it's overwhelming. I will see dogs that have gone longer with a $20 add on fee so that I am compensated for the extra time and work. This includes dogs that have gone elsewhere! If * I * have not worked on them in 3 months they don't remember me or the process, every groomer works differently.
Boarding $35/dog/day
- daycare $20/dog/day 9am-5pm
Boarding would be if they stay the night as well and picked up by 9am. If they are here for daycare and picked up after 6pm then they are considered boarded and will be charged the $35. This is to compensate for my time and so I can plan my day without having to be at the whim of multiple schedules.
Other info-
- All of my products are from a natural grooming supplier. They are biodegradable, non toxic, gluten free, with no additives or thickeners. Safe for me, you, your pup and the environment.
- Keep your phone handy for when to pick up or EMERGENCIES ! Most small dogs take 1 hour each, larger or thick coated dogs 2 hours. If your voicemail is full I can not leave a message.
- your appt time is your appt time- I will not accept dogs more than 15 min early or later than scheduled.
