Brian spent the last weekend at the Iowa State Taxidermy show where he was the judge for the whitetail deer category. While he was there he put on a seminar on altering forms and performed critiques to teach other artists how to improve their mounts.

Wishing all hunters a safe and successful opening morning! A reminder that we will be closed this weekend as Brian is traveling home from Colorado. Please call the shop to set up a time to drop off your trophy buck. In the meantime get the hide off and keep it cool.

Did you know that alongside taxidermy Brian spends much of his time working with other artists sculpting mannequins, ear liners and replacement noses? To give you the most life like mannequin they use clay to build up every muscle layer before it is sent out for production. The time, precision and eye for detail these artist have is impeccable.
