ππΎMr. Norman Buttons Blind Puggle Extraordinaire passed away peacefully at home w/ the human he rescued & her partner at his side.πΎπ
In 2014 at 4 years old, Mr.NB was rescued by Crate Escape from dire circumstances down South & brought to NY. Upon arrival, already blind & having heartworm, he was treated by A.C.E Veterinary. He was then fostered by Patti who posted a pic on FB in a search for his "furever" home. The human he rescued & found his furever home w/ despite her not looking for a dog at the time. However, upon seeing his face, she KNEW that Mr.NB belonged with her w/o knowing anything about him. It was literally love at first sight. From there, Mr. NB graduated from Top Notch Dog Training & The Good Dog Foundation (as a therapy dog to others). During his life, he loved ALL animals & people ... they loved him right back! He enriched the lives of everyone he came in contact with but none more so than his human. It must be mentioned his love, Love, LOVE of tennis balls. He was a pro at fetch, we called in "listen." A lesser know fact is that he played "cupid." He was 100% responsible for uniting his human & her partner.
His medical care with A.C.E. continued throughout his life. At the end, he was compassionately & lovingly cared for at home by VetMedics911 who allowed him a peaceful & loving transition over the Rainbow Bridge. He is now restored to full health & VISION. My Dad (aka; The Dog Whisperer) will be there to welcome Mr.NB on the other side. His human will never be the same. Truth is, she'll be better than ever for having experienced his powerful & unconditional love in her life.
Rest in peace, Mr. Norman Buttons. I will see you again one day & I'm bringing tennis balls!
In the coming days, a fundraiser will be created in his memory. Please watch for that & give as you are able.
