Cought a few struttin’ their stuff tonight. Two belted Birthday Suit x Last Horizon gilts. Pretty and power in these two. Hip and hind legs are spot on! Keep an eye on this litter of 11. Very good all the way thru. The sandy calico barrow is a Family Tradition x American Warrior x 9 lives x No Mercy. Winning pedigree here folks! He seems to be the “cocky” one of the litter. Look in here for your state fair/Aksarben/Royale pigs. Litter of 9 Close Call (Drake Hook) x Shut ‘Em Down (Eggers) born yesterday. Mother was the 2022 champion middleweight and 3rd overall gilt at Marion County. In her gilt litter, she produced the reserve middleweight and 4th overall market pig at Marion last summer that went on to a 2nd in class at ISF 4h show. Great genetics behind this litter. Don’t miss out on these guys!

Couple of gilts here starting to look the part. Wide belted one is an Up and Away x El Blanco. Lots of power in this gal. Thin belted one is a Dirk Diggler x Temptation. Pretty profile and extended through the front on this one. Both of them carry a bunch of bone and are busted open underneath. Couple of good ones here. They sale March 2nd.

Congrats to Landon Branson and Ashlyn Metz on grabbing some banners at Marion County. The mother of these littermates is a Nomad 7-9 that was purchased by the Metz family at our 2021 spring sale. Landon had Reserve Champion overall breeding gilt with the calico and Ashlyn was reserve heavyweight barrow with the black one.

The Willis girls had a solid day at Ringgold County Friday. Two class wins in the breeding gilts that landed them in the championship drive and a market gilt class win to earn a spot in the market grand drive. Nice job Kami and Kerigan!Will be fun to see these 3 gilts a little more mature at the State Fair.
