We'll delve deeper into building solid reliability with longer stays, enhanced focus, reliable recalls, jumping and impulse control. We'll also tackle leash manners and problem-solving scenarios, ensuring your dog is prepared for any situation. This class is perfect for pups who have done great with the basics in our class or a different positive reinforcement class and are ready to go to the next level. Trust and Obey - Your dog's currency.

In today's video, Tessa talks about your dog's currency. Currency refers to the rewards that we offer our dogs in exchange for desired behaviors. Just as humans value different forms of payment, dogs assign their own subjective value to various rewards. This value can fluctuate depending on the dog's individual preferences, as well as the specific context in which the reward is offered. For instance, a hungry dog may find a food treat to be highly valuable, while a dog that has just eaten may be more motivated by a chance to play with a favorite toy. Additionally, the value of a reward can be influenced by the dog's environment and the level of excitement or arousal they are experiencing.
