If seeds only teach us one thing, though they do teach us many things, it's that something very small, nearly invisible even, given the right conditions can grow into something so much greater. Sometimes the most unnoticeable things bring to life the most beauty, abundance, and goodness. What are some "little things" in your life that given enough water and sunlight might bloom into food for your soul? What are some things you might not think very much about but when you take the time to notice them are wondrous to behold? My grandma said once "There's nothing prettier than a tree." It's easy to catch myself walking past them, so ordinary, not fully realizing just how beautiful they really are. Is there anything you're walking past without giving yourself the chance to soak it in?

As we move towards a more sustainable future it is my hope and prayer that we make informed decisions based on thoughtful cost vs. benefit analysis rather than flashy gimmicks that do no real good.

One example of this is "compostable packaging" that can only be broken down in very limited and inaccessible industrial digesters.

Greenwashing presents a significant obstacle to tackling climate change. By misleading the public to believe that a company or other entity is doing more to protect the environment than it is, greenwashing promotes false solutions to the climate crisis that distract from and delay concrete and credi...

It's almost time for the pre-launch of Two Green Thumbs Growkits! Don't miss your chance to be a part! Only 20 spots available!

Growkits can be used to:

✅️Extend Your Growing Season
✅️Reduce Food's Carbon Footprint
✅️Save Tons of Money
✅️Eat Fresh Organic Food Year-Round
✅️Grow Houseplants
✅️Start a Small Business (We will teach you how!)

Just harvested all this from our Growkit! 😋 Everything is at the absolute pinnacle of its nutrient value. 💥 Grown with 15 minutes of time spent and less than 5 dollars using our proven system. 🌱

This is the value of all the food just harvested:

💵 6 Oz of Organic Red Leaf Lettuce - $8
💵 5 Oz of Organic Broccoli Microgreens - $12
💵 10 Oz of Organic Sunflower Microgreens - $20

And we didn't even make a dent in our Growkit.

40 dollars worth of the freshest, most nutrient dense, organic food you will ever have. For less than 5 dollars. 😮

Some fun facts! ⬇️

✅️Foods can lose up to half its nutrients a few days after harvest

✅️Broccoli microgreens contain 100X more sulfurophane than fully grown broccoli

✅️Sulfurophane prevents AND destroys cancer cells (That ain't snake oil. Look it up.)

In the next two months we'll be starting the pre-launch of Two Green Thumbs Growkits, LLC.

The first 20 people to sign up will get:

💲 10% off their Growkit
🛻 Free Delivery and Installation
👨‍🏫 Free Access to 'Two Green Thumbs in 30 Days'
(A step by step daily tutorial you have lifetime access to that will teach you how to get the most out of your Growkit, even start a side hustle making thousands from a little bit of free time 😃)

All this as well as access to a private Facebook community where I will be providing direct support and teaching everything I've learned over the last 7 years growing food indoors.

You don't want to miss out on this amazing opportunity! Only 20 people will be included in the pre-launch. If you're interested just send us a quick message "Interested" and we'll reach out to you when we have all the details. Cost will range between 499-799 depending on what size Growkit you choose. Included will be absolutely everything you'll need to grow thousands worth of food that's fresh and organic in your first year, guaranteed.

Happy Planting

How could I forget to mention the Blue African Daisies?! This picture was taken when it was pretty dark out but it's still easy to tell that these are an absolute beauty. They like the heat so we won't have them until a little later in the season but you'll definitely want to get a few of these... If there are any left I don't put in my own plot. 😂

It's almost time to start planting!!! We're so excited!

This year we're going to focus on things that help our pollinator friends. 🐝🦋 Plenty of other things too but that's our biggest intention. We have purple coneflower (echinacea) which is native to Wisconsin! We also have a milkweed native to Wisconsin, the pink variety to be exact. (It's official name is swamp milkweed but I think pink milkweed sounds a lot nicer)

We'll have lavender, always a nice ornamental addition to any landscape or garden and gloriosa daisies which were a fan favorite from last year. Those are our perennials, not counting the perennial herbs like thyme, sage, and rosemary we will also have.

We will have a few different pepper varieties: red ace bell peppers and long red sweet peppers and for those who like some heat we have some apocalypse scorpion peppers too. They were a free gift from a seed company, we didn't choose the variety purposefully even though the name does seem to resound with the signs of the times... 🤣

We'll have gold nugget tomatoes, pink bumblebee (our "cherry" varieties), San Marzano's (they need no introduction) and Early Girl (a very fast growing and delicious slicing tomato).

We'll have Spacemaster and lemon cucumbers, Dunja zucchini (the classic), Velvet Queen and Sunspot Dwarf sunflowers from last year (fan favorites, Velvet Queens being my personal favorite), Maximilian Sunflowers (a perennial actually), and of course a prolific amount of basil (who doesn't love pesto?) Lol

We'll have pictures from last year of everything posted in the next week or so but just wanted to let you know we're ready for you and your gardening needs.

Much Love,
Two Green Thumbs

I just learned that June 20th is officially world localization day!!! This day is a celebration of the emerging worldwide localization movement which aims to restore the community fabric and human-scale, ecological economies, with a central focus on local food systems.

There are so many awesome programs and speakers. I haven't had a chance to look at everything because I just couldn't wait to share it with you all but I know Vandana Shiva and Russell Brand are speakers and that's enough to get me signed up. But check it out for yourself! When you register you pay whatever you can.

So cool. Can't wait to celebrate world localization day with y'all.

Join us from May 15 - June 20 and celebrate the local economy movement that's transforming the world from the bottom up.

Drum roll please!!! It's been a long time coming but some of the coolest planters ever made are ready to find their forever homes.

Black Prince Echeveria and Lola Echeveria are paired to make this eye catching, Zen inspiring decorative succulent planter. The saucer is 8 inches in diameter and has stones sealed in waterproof resin.

I can't wait to show them off at the market next week! And we hope to see you there! The first of the season today was a wild success and we're so grateful for everyone who showed their support.

Today we celebrate the mothers in our lives. Even if they're not here on this earth they live on in our hearts with all the love and care they poured into us so selflessly like mothers do. Today let us be profoundly grateful for everything they do for us and just for their presence because so often a mother's presence is more balm to the soul than anything else.

You might think she wants diamonds, but she wants flowers, trust me. And we've got plenty of those so if you forgot to get something for her stop by on County Road Z just outside of Plymouth to get something she'll love.
