LRM Ranch has been home to our family for six generations. From farmlands filled with watermelon and tomato vines to a cattle ranch. LRM has grown and changed in many ways and we thank our past generations for leaving this place to us for us to continue to improve.
But it wasn't all it is today until fifth generation Larry Sullivan and his wife Renee Sullivan, began building it into something greater. They both saw the potential the ranch had to be successful and they jumped in. The covered arena is one of the proudest builds on our ranch and Larry and Renee knew the great opportunities that would come with it for them and for future generations. The excitement of having a large shaded arena in the hot, Texas summer days and cover in the rainy season was almost too much as the Sullivan family eagerly waited for the finishing touches.
Although the arena itself is a great addition, more is still to come. The Sullivan’s, with time, plan to add cattle pens for cow horse shows, screens to protect the inside from harsh winds, and eventually a second fully enclosed barn for their own horses. They also hope to soon offer RV hookups for living quarters trailers and guest stalls for traveling horsemen and women. Already the original arena has now been converted into a warm-up pen for competitors. As of now, the Sullivans are proud of what they have and look forward to the people that come through their gate to share their love for horses and riding.
