Meet Slim, or “Slim Shady” as some call him! This 41 lb, 2 yo boy has been at the shelter since February. He loves to run and play and will need an outlet for this energy!! While he loves to walk and run…he does better on a leash after expending some energy. He has good focus with treats and wants to please his humans. Meet Bella! Bella has been at the shelter for a year! This girl has come so far since I first met her and has really blossomed at her foster home. She did amazing at her first Petsmart event. No issues with other dogs, cats, or people! Special surprise for whomever adopts her in the month of May. Baby Girl is doing so much better since she came to Animal Welfare Alliance. she has even improved since this video! She got her stitches out last week and now she is feeling great! All she is waiting for is the right family to take her home! We believe she was hit by a vehicle and that broke her back and her leg. She survived on her own with no medical care until coming to us. The docs say that she is all healed, it just healed wrong. She’s doing good now though! Please consider donating so that we may continue to care for more animals in need, like Baby Girl. There are so many that need our help. Thank you.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Winnie is a very affectionate and playful cat looking for her forever home. Baby Girl and the broken back

Baby Girl is looking for a very special home. She’s going to need someone with a huge heart and an abundance of patience. Only 1 year old she must have been just a tiny puppy when she was hit by a car and her leg and back were broken. Through sheer determination she somehow survived. Probably crawling off into a hole somewhere, starving and scared. She must have stayed very quiet and she’s still the same way today. I have never heard her make a noise. She is the sweetest girl though. That tell wags and she gives the best little kisses. Baby girl is good with everyone. Dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. While she is able to get around fairly well without a wheelchair, she may benefit from one if we could get the one we have to work or get one just for her. She does have control of her bladder and outside the shelter may be able to be potty trained but she does not seem to have control of her bowels. She will need a home with no stairs and even floors to help her navigate. She’ll need a family that will be able to take her out frequently, clean up after her, lift her when needed, and love her unconditionally. Could that be you?

We were here. You could have rang the bell but I’m pretty sure we had already told you we were full. You didn’t even look at the door. You didn’t care. You’re more important than everyone that does the right thing, right? We didn’t see your 6 puppies for 3 hours. 3 hours they were out in the cold. No food. No water. Infested with fleas. Way too young to be pulled from mom. So tiny. You are not special. You don’t get to just dump your animals. You will be found. You will be prosecuted. This is a felony. Turn yourself in.
