📣 All reports MUST go through the office by calling 740-353-8802.
When it is after hours-Please contact your local law enforcement agency and they will reach out to the warden on-call.
We ask that you respect the privacy of the wardens and their properties- Please do not attempt to contact them directly to make reports- as stated before ALL calls for service must be called in to the office.

⭐️Fundraising for a Play Yard⭐️

We are hoping to raise money to fix our existing fence so we can get dogs out and let them have room to run! This is crucial for helping alleviate stress from the kennel.
We have a goal of $6000 to meet to make this happen!

🥳Update 8/31/24: George’s surgery was successful! He is already doing very well, very energetic and we were told he was rolling around his kennel acting like nothing had happened 🐾 He has a rescue secured and he will be recovering at SAC until transport. We want to thank everyone who helped him 💜

🙏🏻Update8/30/24: George’s leg could not be saved- he is undergoing surgery to amputate- we want to sincerely thank everyone who has donated towards his treatment- you make this possible! More updates to follow as we know more.

‼️We need your help‼️ This sweet guy- we are naming “George” has just arrived with a severely swollen front leg- He is on his way to Shawnee Animal Clinic to be evaluated- We don’t have funding for vetting- This guy deserves help!

This is Onyx- he is approx 3yrs old- dog friendly and loves people. He has a bad front leg that appears to be an old but healed injury- it doesn’t slow him down at all!
He needs a forever home or rescue ASAP. Please share! Tag rescues or people who would give this guy the home he deserves!

Missy is a sweet girl we have right now- she’s part of an abandonment case 💔 she’s been enjoying herself today getting some walkies and pets from the kennel helpers🐾

Our two longest residents are still looking for their furrever families! Lilo and Zoey have been here almost 2 months with no interest! They are both extremely friendly and would make great family dogs! 🐶 We still have sponsored adoptions going on- come out and meet these sweethearts🐾

Maize is chill as a cucumber and would love for you to come meet her and her friends at the shelter!

🆘 Our poor Jethro- He has been at the shelter since the first week of April- We don’t understand how he hasn’t found his people yet! But we must find him rescue or a forever home ASAP- it is really starting to get to him- he DESPERATELY needs someone to help him- he is good with other dogs, loves people- all he wants to do is walk and sniff- he would make an amazing partner on the trail for hiking, or hunting- a great family dog.
