We made the trip down to Georgia to run Midlands HRC this weekend to finish up our fall test season. Dakota got the job done early today and is officially

Battled through self control issues the whole way but have managed to keep them in check and get the job done. This 50lb dog has more heart and drive than some twice her size. Congrats to as well he’s stuck with her and stayed dedicated even when things got rough. Next on the list….trying to get her Grand ready

Finally got home from Hodges SC about 11 last night. Big thanks to Cherokee Foothills HRC for hosting a well run test, with some tough judging. Had a rough go at it battling control issues all weekend, we did pass Dakota on Sunday.

We ran a nice test this weekend at going 3-4 in finished. Dakota picked up 2 more passes and needs 2 more to go, Delta picked up 1 and needs 4 more for their Finished title

Man what an absolute blast we had down in Arkansas with . Birds were a little stale but worked his butt off to put us on the birds, and is a top shelf guide! Big thanks to for putting us on a solid speck hunt one afternoon.

It was a good time spent with good friends and we were blessed to make it down and back safely. Now it’s back to work

To all the amateur handlers to all the first time hunt test handlers. I know you pull up and look at the Pros and see how clean the dogs look running the set up… but I’m here to tell you our dogs are dogs just like yours and goofy things happen to us just like anyone else!

Murphy and I drove up to run the double junior at Rappahannock Retriever Club and put on a nice showing….until…water series of test 1 where he decided to retrieve a decoy instead of the bird. He’s seen decoys through out training land and water. I must say he did come back to heel nice and pretty and delivered that plastic duck right to hand 🤦🏼‍♂️ it happens, back to the grind stone after splitting the tests going 1-2

Deuce has come so very far since I got him in. His personality was very timid and soft, any kind of negative pressure shut him down and made him want to quit. We have slowly built him up and this video right here is monumental to where he’s at now to where he was. Deuce is owned by Gary Edwards
