I'm finally back home from the 2024 AKC Agility League Nationals held at Purina Farms in St. Louis. This was such a great event, and kudos to Penny Leigh and her staff for a job well done. It was a super smooth, fun event. A big shout out to Purina Farms and their staff; this facility has the friendliest staff and beautifully manicured grounds. It's always a pleasure to compete out there.

Bratty Paws had three teams competing: two Senior Teams and one Ph.D. team. All three teams made the finals, and our Ph.D. team came in 2nd place! I am so proud of all my teammates.

Finally, we couldn't have done this without our Cheerleader, Aspen Moffler, and her Personal Handler and Grandmother, Marvel Miller!

I look forward to the 2025 AKC League Nationals.

The first Fetch Event for the Greater Port Charlotte Agility Club is in the books. We had a fantastic turnout and lots of new faces! We escaped the rain and crazy hot weather by doing this all inside in Air-Conditioned comfort at Bratty Paws Dog Plex. Fetch is a great event to bond with your dog; we have all learned how important a good recall is!!

I want to thank our Judges, Christine Bishop and Joyce Jackowski, who made this trial run smoothly. I also want to thank all of the GPCAC members who helped. We look forward to our next Fetch Event on October 5th, which will be outdoors.

Finally back home after a fantastic weekend participating at the 1st Annual AKC Agility League Nationals. Great course and a lot of fun. It was nice catching up with friends and meeting new folks and teams.

To say that Penny Leigh and her team did a GREAT job would be an understatement! They knocked it out of the park, super smooth and fun event we are looking forward to next years Nationals!
