WOW!!!

Last week, at the 25th Dockdogs World Championships, Oklahoma Thunder was honored with the award for DOCKDOGS 2024 FACILITY OF YEAR!

When Sherry and I decided to build Oklahoma Thunder Dock Diving, I was just hoping people would show up since no one in Oklahoma was doing dock diving. I hoped we could successfully start and grow the sport locally.

As an avid and dedicated competitor, I look at our facility and ask myself what I would want if I was coming to compete at an event. The facility events are special, and I have competed at 6 different sanctioned facilities over the years. Our objective here at Oklahoma Thunder Dock Diving is to create a Dockdogs party, because sometimes you just need a weekend to hangout and jump your dog with good friends. Our events offer an atmosphere where everyone is included, and all are welcome. Our comes together each year to volunteer and help make our events so successful! The youth are amazing at raising money for the Youth Recognition Committee and BARRK. We also have several youth that are amazingly good announcers, but watch out because they are not afraid to critique your throws. 😂

Thank You Dockdogs for recognizing all the hard work we do to build Dockdogs in the central part of the U.S. Thank you to the members who have supported us over the years and continue to do so. If you haven't visited us yet, make plans for 2025 and come ready for a great time!

Oklahoma Thunder Dock Diving would like to congratulate this year’s dockdogs Hall of Fame inductees. Very impressive group of people and dogs.

DockDogs offers so much more than dogs jumping off of a dock. DockDogs is about community where you can meet/cheer people from all over the world. DockDogs is community where everyone is welcomed and we’re all brought together because our dogs live to jump in a pool.

Thunder is 11 yr old chocolate lab that has had dysplasia his whole life. Despite the odd he keeps competing in DockDogs. Thunder still loves this sport and competing. Never let the old dog in. . . Our great vet keep our dogs in good health with great nutritional foods
