This is a perfect example of doggy friends! 6 of our dogs were at the Pittsburgh Pet Expo, yet remained comfortable enough to just chill. This is why training your dog in group classes is so important! They need to know it’s ok to just exist near a dog! We were able to hand off leashes and dogs and none of the dogs even noticed!

Fun class this afternoon!

Moe is back at the shelter after being adopted in May, and we’re here to help him find his forever home again. Sadly, his owner passed away, but this incredible dog is ready to start a new chapter.

Moe has a spirit as vast as the open sky and a heart full of loyalty. His independent nature means he’s never a burden, but he’ll always be there when you need a friend. His curiosity brings joy, sparking laughter as he explores the world around him with keen interest.

He’s the perfect companion for anyone seeking a friend who enjoys quiet moments but is also up for spontaneous adventures. Moe's unwavering loyalty truly reflects his wonderful character.

If you’re ready to give Moe the loving home he deserves, come meet him today! 🐶❤️

Classes start this Sunday!
Learn to communicate instead of baby talking or screaming at you puppy or dog.

A reliable communication system is the most important tool you can have to successfully train your dog.
You need excellent communication skills, or else you won't get the results you want from your dog. You need to know how to communicate with your dog, and you need to learn how your dog is communicating with you. It's a little more complicated than just telling your dog to do a task. There's a bit more to it, and that's what we are going to shed some light on now.

Most importantly, your dog is not born speaking the same language as you. Your dog only knows how to speak “dog” until you teach them your language. Dogs communicate through body language and vocal cues. That cute head tilt or tucked tail, maybe even ears pinned back are speaking volumes to whoever is “listening” or reading their language.

Your dog is regularly communicating with you, and I do not always mean through barking. They are always telling us how they feel or what they need through body postures.

Scout and trainer Jill started agility training in the fall of 2019. Then COVID hit…once the world opened back up, summer of 2020 Scout took Piper’s place (due to a paw injury) in an advanced agility class.

All was great until June, when trainer Jill noticed some lameness. After a vet visit, meds, and some rest Scout made his comeback last night.

He’s in his happy place for sure!
