I’ve been a patient at Dermatology of Southeastern Ohio in Zanesville for many years and have always been more than satisfied with their work. Today I had a basal cell carcinoma removed, with Dr. Brian P. Biernat from The Center for Surgical Dermatology performing Mohs Micrographic Surgery. The Center had prepared me with information about the surgery well in advance so that I knew what was going to happen. Dr. Biermat and his assistant were very kind, uplifting, and pleasant while working with me. I am very grateful for what was provided by Dermatology of Southeastern Ohio and the doctors and nurses there. Our community in Southeastern Ohio should be proud of the medical resources we have here! Thank you for your service, clinics, hospitals, doctors and nurses.

Tonight is the first meeting of GEM Youth Horse Club for 2024! GEM A is full. However, there are a few openings in the second session, GEM B, which begins June 18. Go to our website for more information.

Gifted Gaits, Inc. is a non-profit center for equine assisted therapy, and other horse related activities, where horses help humans heal mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Ruby Bentley Schockling’s 4-H club from Noble County, the Kountry Kickers, blessed us with their community service project. They helped us with spring cleaning at the farm! What a fantastic job they did! We can’t thank them enough! They raked the moss from the pond, weeded the rock gardens, picked up sticks in the yard, filled the water troughs and swept the concrete. We are ready for Gifted Gaits, Inc. guests!

Making the most of a rainy day. Shenandoah Intermediate school, Lindsay Smith, teacher. Thanks for coming! We really had a great day. I was extremely proud of each child in your class. They were very polite and attentive. And fun! I had many good conversations during their visit. Thanks to schools who support their students going out into the community. Go Zeps!

Other things happen when you’re with a horse besides riding it or grooming. The girl who was bonding with this horse today, learned to braid! It was a great accomplishment for her. Thanks to our quiet little horse, Paisley and the patient and caring staff member who guided her, the teen gained confidence in herself.

Christian and Jarica are ready to ride! TODAY! SHS Seniors Christian Dimmerling and Jarica Winkleman will be representing the Ohio High School Rodeo Association in the Cutting event at MC Cutting Horses March Challenger show in Canal Wi******er, OH.
The March Challenger is their second show of the season and 2024 is the first year SHS students have competed in Cutting through OHSRA. Congratulations and good luck!
