Millbrook dog park is back open!

Millbrook will reopen tomorrow, unfortunately the weather forecast calls for 90% rain

We will be OPEN at 10AM tomorrow, 3/1! •
And we have a bunch of new tennis balls for our four legged patrons’ enjoyment thanks to the Tennis Center!😊 •

Looks like the Millbrook park may reopen March 1st or sometime right around that date. Feel free to share with anyone that maybe interested as a lot of the Millbrook folks have started going to Oakwood

Weather permitting we are going to bring in some loads of mulch /playground chips tomorrow to the park. Weather doesn’t look good but they’ve been wrong before.

Millbrook Park looking great, some of these updates could be done at Oakwood Park and are affordable. One of the major ones a concrete pad at the area where you come in and the nice benches and the dog poti containers are all pretty affordable

Millbrook will soon reopen

🎊**PARK MAKEOVER TIMELINE**🎊

Hi everyone! We got some great updates about the renovation progress at Millbrook:

• The city plans to complete all renovations by the end of the month as long as weather cooperates and there are no issues with the contractors
• OPENING date is currently going to be the first week of March as long as all goes according to plan, a firm date will be communicated closer to then
• VOLUNTEER date has been set for Saturday, February 24 from 9am-12pm to put finishing touches on everything before re-opening
• The City is coordinating dates and times for a celebration as well which they’re looking to do in early April - although this is in April the park will be open to patrons in March

🐶An online sign up will be created this week for everyone who wants to participate in the Volunteer Day 2/24

We can’t wait for all of our pups to have their park back and better than ever! Please let us know if you have any questions.
