UPDATE 1/3 Kristoff has been pulled to rescue with Oliver's safe haven rescue out of Chico!!!!! Thank you so much Oliver's and foster home, this sweet boy sure needed you! Follow his progress on thier FB page especially if your interested in adopting him! RESCUED ❤️

UPDATE 12/31 JUST IN TIME TO END THE YEAR WITH A HUGE WIN! SWEET KRISTOFF HAS GONE INTO FOSTER PENDING A RESCUE PULL FROM A SISTER RESCUE! Thank you so so much foster 💗 and to the rescue who fought for him!!!!!

This sweet boy is getting battered by shelter life 😢 Kristoff is a sweet baby boy with kind eyes and a loving spirit! Please consider this beautiful baby!

Kristoff sat in the lobby with myself and a couple other volunteers to get a break. He is a loving boy who wants to give and get love. He readily sits for treats and does good on leash even though he's scared in the Shelter environment. He is treat motivated to learn all the things. He is getting picked on as a puppy and his feet have a couple sores. See his little chapped lips 😭Speaking of feet, his paws are webbed and pretty big. This is a dog who will be your loyal, devoted companion his entire life. This beautiful brindle baby really needs to find his forever home, the Shelter is no place for babies. Let's get him home for Christmas!!!!!

Kristoff is sweet, good with all people, other dogs and doesn't care about cats and young enough to teach not to chase.

Kristoff is a beautiful 8 month old Brindle Pitbull terrier/ Labrador retriever mix. He is approx 35ish pounds. Kristoff is utd on vaccines and hw negative.

TODAY STARTS THE THREE DAY HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS EVENT AT THE TEHAMA COUNTY ANIMAL CARE CENTER! THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL DOGS AND CATS THAT WOULD LOVE TO GO HOME JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS! LIKE THE BEAUTIFUL PROUD BUCKLEY HERE! THIS BOY HAS FOUND HIMSELF IN THE OVER CAPACITY SHELTER AND HE WOULD LOVE HIS VERY OWN WARM AND LOVING HOME! PLEASE, PLEASE SHARE BUCKLEY!!!

Buckley is a good boy! This boy despite his grumpy dog adorable face knows all the things and is a sweet, smart dog! He will make a fun addition to most homes!

Buckley knows all the things! He sits, he knows down, he comes and does pretty good on leash. Buckley is playful and brings the toys and balls back. He's a young boy so has some energy so ideally an active home where he would get lots of play and walks. This boy holds himself proudly but then turns into a marshmallow for pets and belly rubs. Buckley was patient when I had him pose for photos and when I put the torturous reindeer ears on him! He's a georgeous boy whos golden eyes are just imploring you to love him and show him the good life he deserves!

Buckley is good with other dogs, went nose to nose with the cat (doesn't mean he won't chase!) And he's good with all people.

Buckley is an approx 1.2 ish years old Lab/retriever mix (I see maybe Rotti there?) Buckley is approx 65ish pounds of georgeous boy! He is utd on vaccinations and hw negative.

Only a few days left until our Home for the Holidays adoption event! Groucho is one of 110+ animals looking for forever families. Will this be the week he goes home for good?

Groucho is a male Belgian Malinois/ German Shepherd mix around 3 years old. Groucho can be a little defensive when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he will be your best friend for life! His is loyal and will stick right by your side. Groucho is easygoing and loving with his people, and is dog friendly.

CARLA IS A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH IN THE OVERCROWDED SHELTER! IT IS A FACT THAT BLACK DOGS ARE OVERLOOKED 😢CARLA IS AN AMAZING GIRL WHO DESERVES TO BE SHOWN SO HER SHINE CAN BE SHOWN! PLEASE, PLEASE SHARE CARLA!

This girl is perfection. I could not find one opportunity to highlight for the right home. She will fit into any home! Please consider Carla!

Carla is so well behaved that it was surprising for me to pull her out for a walk and not be overstimulated. She calmly let me find a collar and leash for her, she layed quietly in the lobby while I leashed her up and introduced her to the cat who she avoided. She walked great on leash and in addition Carla knows sit, down, shake and recall. This sweet girl was loved once and likely has house manners too. She is lovely, affectionate and such a sweet girl. Carla is a beautiful girl and shouldn't be overlooked because of her being a black dog. Go snap this girl up, you won't regret it for a second.

Carla is good with other dogs but greets are recommended as she is not showing well on all greets and showing some aggression at meet. She has lived with multiple dogs so I believe its overstimulation coming right out of being cooped up, ignored the cat but doesn't mean she won't chase and good with all people.

Carla is a stunning approx 3ish year old border collie mix. Carla is approx 50 pounds. Carla is utd on vaccines and hw negative.

OK GOOD HUMANS OF THE WORLD, LETS RALLY FOR THIS SWEET PUPPY! RYDER WAS A BABY WHEN HE CAME IN WITH HIS SIBLINGS IN SEPTEMBER, HES ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD! DESPITE BEING IN THE SHELTER THIS BABY IS SO SO SWEET AND CRAVES HUMAN ATTENTION. HE NEEDS HIS FOREVER HOME , PLEASE SHARE BABY RYDER FAR AND WIDE!!!!

I just had to with this picture because it just shows the connection he needs and loves, better pictures of him in the comments. He is an adorable little boy who is super, super smart and follows the lead of his humans. He will make an amazing family member in any environment.

Ryder is scared in the Shelter environment and doesn't even walk well on leash in the Shelter but outside he was happy as can be walking good on leash and exploring the world, he needs that! He's just a baby! Ryder is an absolute sweetheart he loves belly rubs, rolling in the grass and getting and giving affection. He is treat motivated and learned quickly to sit for a treat. He's at a good age to be trained to be the dog you want him to be. This beautiful little boy needs to be in a loving, warm home not the scary overcrowded shelter!!!

Ryder is great with other dogs and cats. He loves all people big or small.

Ryder is a 4 month old Australian Cattle dog/McNab mix. He weighs maybe 25 pounds. He is utd on vaccines and hw negative.

We are so excited to share our new partnership with Petco in Redding! The new Petco store on Churn Creek Road is housing some of our adoptable cats, to help them find their forever homes. Elsa (pictured) has been enjoying the extra toys and attention, along with 3 of her friends. If you are in the area, make sure to stop by Petco and say hi to the cats!
