Sending out a huge “Thank you” ❤️ to all our clients, friends and neighbors for offering help in case of need for evacuation. Wanted to let everyone the kitties and us are fine and not threatened by the fire. Thank goodness for the huge Amerigen Generator! Verdi has been without power for all most 24 hours. We have all the comforts of home here at the cattety, except our landline phone. ❤️😻❤️

Willow is lost!!! Her owner reports that she was lost out at Pyramid area, camping last weekend, when people next to them lit off fireworks and she ran. Please keep a look out if you are in the area.

On the third day of Christmas my kitty gave to me … three broken snow globes full of antifreeze.
They’re seasonal and pretty, but a smashed or leaky snow globe can poison cats, as some contain ethylene glycol (Anti-freeze). Make sure to keep these festive spheres away from curious cats. If one breaks remember to immediately remove kitty and then make sure to clean thoroughly.

Patches At The Spaw

Many people shy away from the grooming needs of their cat based on popular myths. One of those myths is that cats hate water. Not only do cats NOT hate water, MANY of them actually enjoy the experience. There are very few exceptions to this. I have actually bathed Patches several times and the first time she got a bath, she was not this happy, of course, because it was a new experience to her. But with regular grooming, cats remember the experience to be a positive one. For some cats, I leave them in the tub longer than normal just because they love it! ~Susan
