I took Buddy in to the Vet today. He’s been laying around a lot and throwing up. They ran test and said they think he’s gorging on food and to limit his feed. We leave it in the feed room so he can free-feed (as much as he wants). They said limit food. So we will have to give daily portions. I’m sure the heat doesn’t help so I may it him in the garage with the window unit for our dogs the kennel in there. Buddy stays out back morning and night and only goes into the feed room when it’s open to eat.

We no longer quarantine or rehome Horses. However, we will always be available for advice and any help we can offer our community.
We decided since the Donkeys, and Mules were so endangered that we would change our mission!!
We now rescue directly from the Texas auctions and Kill pens, and assist with owner relinquishments to give these deserving animals a new chance at life.
