Tis the season for giving! Especially to our furry friends in need. I am, with Terri Findley and Matt Brinley, collecting

Update: I’m very happy to share that Pierre has found a loving home with a loving family! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Hello everyone , this is Pierre.
Pierre was brought to me because his owner had an emergency and unfortunately his owner is no longer physically able to care for Pierre. I was asked to see if anyone would be willing to adopt Pierre in his golden years.
Toy poodle, 11 years old, up to date on vaccines. No meds or allergies. Has cataracts but is very independent once he figures out his environment .
During his stay here at the kennel, I have learned that he is a little lover and a snuggler . He could sit forever in your arms. He’s quiet and low energy. Anyone interested can DM or text me for contact information to the family for questions, a meet n greet or further information.

On a night like tonight, with some of the worst weather winter has to offer, it makes me SO HAPPY when I make my way to the kennels and the dogs are safe, happy, warm and dry. They have no idea there’s a winter storm going on, until the doggy door opens. Even if the power goes out, the generator will kick in and we carry on.
Although I’m sure they are a little confused with the thunder and lightning. Just adds to the adventure.

A big THANK YOU to our customers for working with us today during the storm. My staff and I are now safe at home for the day. We worked with our customers to come up with coverage for check ins while keeping everyone safe. Boarding customers adjusted pick up/ drop off times to work around the weather.

When you bring your dog in for boarding with me, I often ask a question that might seem a little nosy. ‘Where ya going?’. Perhaps it is nosy, but there’s a reason. For example:
‘We have a sports tournament’
I know your going to need flexibility when you pick up Sunday.

‘Going to Florida (or anywhere south)’ I keep an eye on the weather, mostly hurricanes and snow on return flights.

‘Going on a cruise, out of the country’ I probably will not be able to communicate with you while you were on the ship and I need a solid emergency number.

’We’re flying’ I keep my ears open for major flight issues with weather or mass cancellations (I’m looking at you Southwest). I can start making back up plans if your boarding reservation last longer than expected.

Just a little extra info to help plan for the ‘what if’ that comes up so often.
