Now that the dust has settled- Where to begin? When we first started putting this group together as 3 year olds, we had the mere hope that we would make it to finals. Fast forward 2 years and we are beyond honored to be titled as the 2023 World Champion Haflinger and Hitch Pony Six Horse Hitch and Reserve World Champion Ladies Cart. To say this was an emotional moment is an understatement. This group of mares have proved time and time again that they have the drive and love to do their jobs, and man did they not disappoint.
We can’t thank our crew enough for their support and long hours of hard work, as well as our family and friends at home who keep the farm running while we’re away. This wouldn’t be possible without any of them and so many other people who have helped make this happen!
Lastly, and most importantly, we want to send our well wishes and support to our very good friends at Shanahan Stables. They are an integral piece to this industry and its success, and very special friends to us. We hope for a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back in the ring!
