Snow is back from being spayed and microchipped. She is now ready for her new home. We had a great couple of days together. She was thrilled with all the attention but now we are back and she is in her room recovering.

update on our current "K9 for disabled Vets" puppy, Josh. "Josh is doing so well in our service dog training program. Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support to Semper K9!

He is currently serving a rotation within our prison program. While he is at the prison, he will be working on basic commands and Chris and/or Joanna make weekly visits to check in on the pups and continue training. "

Snow, at 4 years old, has decided she no longer wants to be one of the group. She is looking for a home with just a boy dog or no dog. She has always been in the house and is the best with kids. Black just turned 4 months! He is so easy to train! Here he is minding, even with his mom playing behind him and a new person in the room taking the video! Of course, we spent a few minutes letting him play with his new friend!

Hope all of this litter is doing well. I am amazed at how well Black is doing on potty training. He's only had one accident in the house in the last two days! He's such a smart little guy. And a pleaser. He will be a great dog for some family.

This week Yellow is in the spotlight. He is such a precious little guy! My favorite word for Yellow is gentle.. Although he is an active puppy who enjoys the kids and other dogs, when playing with the kids or coming to an adult, he is always gentle. I love the way he talks to me and interacts.

Then there was 2. Busy weekend. K9 for disabled vets picked up Green Saturday. Then I received an email from an owner saying her sister wanted Blue. This is a great family and I knew the sister, Kelly, from 2 years ago. As this is Snow's last litter, Kelly didn't want to miss the chance of having one of her babies. We met Sunday and Blue, now Charley, is living down the road from his half brother! The family already had a golden so now there are three in the family!

Blue is in the spotlight this week. He is such a precious little guy! Every litter I get the question "Do you have a quiet, less active puppy?". Every litter I say "No. Goldens are active dogs." Until now. Blue keeps up with the other puppies but if there's a choice, he likes to watch. When doing treats, he will hang back, wagging his tail, until the other puppies are done, then comes to get his. He is so much fun to watch! He has patience!

Black is in the spotlight today. He is one of three little boys still looking for a home. He is such an interactive little guy. Way back to 3 weeks he made a point of getting to an adult and having a discussion with them. For that reason he will be a loving pet and easy to train. Anyone looking for company, Black is the guy for you!

Six weeks old! Time to pick your new buddy. What a busy week. Puppies received their first distemper shot had the vet check, then microchipping and deworming on Saturday. Now they are ready to celebrate Memorial Day.

5 weeks old! These little guys are growing fast. All are between 7 and 9 pounds and growing. They are so much fun, running to greet everyone and finding a spot around the feeding dishes.

These are really great puppies! They are growing so fast and their fur is thick and soft. It's like hugging a little bear. They have started playing with each other and achknowledging things in their path. Here they are playing/sleeping with a stuffy.

I was looking at some other breeders that were formerly in line with me and saw that they had lowered their fees. I don't know why. It could be the economy but to remain competitive. I am lowering my fee also. I, of course, feel my guys have more to offer, but then again, those breeders feel the same way. Anyway, this should be a great reason to give my guys one more look. Those already sold will have their fee decreased also.
