The best barn help!

Fireworks can be scary for horses. Every 4th of July, and the weekend surrounding the holiday, I walk down to check on all the kids to make sure no one is frantic. Very grateful that none of the horses on my farm mind them 😊

Does anyone else hate it when their supervisor randomly pops by for a ride along? I’d like to know which horse filed a complaint with corporate to prompt this “random” check in. 😒

Found where the foxes are denning. They didn’t seem to mind my husband watching them… as long as he kept his distance.

Lucas is learning to embrace his farmer side. He’s begun operating heavy machinery to get farm work done.

Post #2 about dragging manure out in the pastures with my Kubota and chain harrow… Others are so desensitized that they lazily move out of my way so I can exit 😒

Dragging out the manure in the pastures… some horses have become a little too desensitized to the Kubota dragging a chain harrow. Can’t keep them away!

Perfect weather for an evening ride. 🐴 ☀️
