And this little zoomer, lol…We are going to call her Penny for Your Thoughts…(Penny for short), because, well…we would just love to know what she is thinking. 😂 Once we let this girl go outside she’s been running around enjoying the fresh air. She’s was also super excited to meet her older brother Milo…Milo on the other hand isn’t quite so sure about all these girls running around now. 🤣😂🤷‍♀️

We are SO EXCITED here at Dos Cabras…Minnie and Moose have given us our very first blue eyed kid this year!! 🥳👏👏👏❤️❤️ We’ve been waiting forever for this and now we finally have our very first blue eyed girl. Cheers to Minnie and Moose! We even have a perfect name for our very special girl…Going to call her Afternoon Deelight, because that is exactly what she is…Dee Dee for short. 🥰🙌

Along with baby goats…we also have been blessed on the farm with BABY BARN KITTENS!! Sooo, so soft. and cute…and did I mention soft? 😝🥰 Side note though…the dead mice collection is getting completely ridiculous…barn cats be crazy. 😳😵‍💫

It’s twin girls for Minnie and Moose!! Yeesss!! Our papa Moose has worked his magic yet again. 🥳🙌🌟These adorable sweethearts were born Friday afternoon and are ready to live their very best baby goat life already, lol. Especially our little “mini Minnie” with the white head…she doesn’t go down for her naps easy….stubborn just like her mama. 😂 Can’t wait to introduce these girls to their half brother Milo…the cuteness might make our heads explode. 🥰❤️❤️❤️

Our sweet little man here we’ve decided to name…Milo! I know! It’s perfect right!? This little guy…is just…the most perfect little dude. We can’t quite tell yet if he’s actually a black and white or is really just a deep chocolate brown and white like is papa. Thinking the latter. He’s just a tiny little thing right now, but boy does he give the sweetest kisses already. This boy’s a lady charmer to the max already. 🥰 Look out girls! Melt your heart Milo is ready to steal your heart right out from under you. 😜❤️ 👍

Kidding season can be both the most wonderful time of the year…and also the most heartbreaking. Lucy’s sweet little white boy, who we’ve decided to name Mathias (gift of God), passed away Saturday afternoon. We didn’t get near enough time with this sweet boy before he had to travel back home…but we loved him for each and every precious moment we had. This post is hard to write…as a farmer, you look forward to holding each of these new babies in your arms. Getting to know them each day more and more. Having to let them go before you even know them at all hurts like hell. You can’t help but ask yourself at your lowest if this is worth the pain. But….when you look into the eyes of the baby you have left…you know it is. When I see Lucy being the best she can be with the baby she has left…she inspires me to soldier on. These animals are worth it all ten million times over. I’d try again little man…just to hold you a moment more. You were worth it. 🥹❤️‍🩹👍

It’s twin boys for our Lucy and Moose today!! One white and one black and white. Oh man are these boys charmers already. Day one pictures are as bad as can be expected, but we think these two photos do them justice. Our little black and white boy is quite the talker already and eager to get moving. In contrast, his taller, much more leggy brother has been pretty content to just hog the heat tube. Twins are often such funny contrasts of each other. 😂 Not Lucy’s biggest boys, but her and Moose never fail to create adorable dudes. This will be their third set of twin boys Cheers to making it through day one! Next up to kid the end of April…Minnie and Moose! 👏🥳 Our plan is to be swarmed with babies this year. 😮‍💨🤪👍

Ah…Spring in Montana. ❄️❄️Nothing like 2+ foot of snow overnight to get you outside to hang with your goats. And by hang I mean of course, digging out walkways from shelter to feeders for everyone. 😂👍 My girl Lucy is a true Montana goat now though. She’ll plow through the snow to meet me halfway. God I love this girl. ☺️❤️❤️ Happy Spring everyone! 🤣😂🍻👍

Howdy Show Go-ers! Brittney here with Dos Cabras Ranch in Montana. I’m so excited to be offering my support again to the Midway Mini Silky show.

Instead of sending a completed piece of art though like I’ve done before, I’m thrilled to come up with an even better idea! This year I will be raffling off the opportunity for the winner to receive a Custom Oil Painting done by me, valued at 1000

The winner can choose whatever subject they’d like (goat or other pet portrait, family member, landscape and more!) and I’ll paint it on a 12x16 canvas. I can’t wait to see what you’ll choose!

** Our Runner Up Winner will get a chance to choose from pieces I do already have done.
