Brookdale Preserve

Brookdale Preserve The Preserve borders the Genesee Valley Greenway on the east and the Conrail RR line on the west. The preserve is open from dusk until dawn.

Genesee Land Trust preserves and protects natural lands and waterways that enhance the quality of life in the Greater Rochester region - providing wildlife habitat, locally grown food, and connections to nature. This 275-acre property was donated to Genesee Land Trust in 1998 by RG&E as part of an environmental benefits package to resolve an enforcement action by the NYS DEC. It contains wooded we

tlands, open meadows, and hardwood uplands. It is home to numerous kinds of birds and an exceptional variety of frogs.
