First morning with my new foster kittens- Basil & Barney. They are too curious to stay scared for too long.. 😻

9/6/24: I just took in 2 new little foster kittens tonight - Basil & Barney. Fostering these little boys for RocKats TNR in Rochester, NY.
They are only about 2 lbs each. 😻

Basil is the smaller guy with more white on his face. We think they are about 8 weeks old. They were trapped with their mom & a sister. The sister is in a different foster home and needed more one on one care, but is doing well. Mom is also with RocKats now but wasn't showing interest in caring for her babies. Sadly there was one more kitten that didn't make it. We are going to make sure these little guys do make it.

Right now, they are both in hiding mode... but seem to be healthy & happy to be safe and sound. Stay tuned for updates and let me, and/or RocKats know if interested in adopting. They still need to be neutered and all, and then will be listed on RocKats Petfinder page (https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/ny/rochester/rockats-ny1571/)

Update on my last 2 foster kittens: Dallas(now Milo) and Denver(now Louie) are settling into their new home, and soaking up all the love. Their mom says, "They make us so happy, even when they run through the house like horses! ❤️".
Does my heart good to know they are loved and happy. Run, play, and be happy little guys!

Happy to announce that little Dakota went to his new forever home today, and has a new name, too - Snax. 😻 I will miss him. He was the littlest of the 3 brothers I'm fostering, and always the bravest. When the others ran away from me - he ran to me. It helps that he's going to someone near and dear to my heart, and I know they are going to love and spoil him. He was already purring with his new family before I left. ❤
Now, to find a home for Denver & Dallas!

Aaaaand an update on Dakota, now Snax, the first of the three 3D kittens to find his forever home. He was adopted a few weeks ago. Looks like he's living his best life.

Dallas & Denver love each other, and would love to have a home of their own. They are bonded brothers and love to cuddle with each other, as well as their foster mom. Dallas is a little braver and bigger, but Denver is always down to play and is getting braver every day with the help of churu treats. Getting bigger and healthier. Almost ready to be neutered and then they will officially be up for adoption through RocKats TNR.

Dakota, the littlest, remains the bravest and likes to play, and to be held. He will purr and snuggle into your neck. He is all black with just a smidge of white on his chest. So cute.

Foster kittens are having fun checking out their new digs. Denver (cream one), the shy guy, even came out to play on camera for a change. Dallas (orange & white) loves to chase that red dot. He purrs while he's chasing it. Dakota (black one) is more interested in chasing tails, and even though he's been the sickliest and littlest - he is by far the bravest and loves to be held and just wants to be my little shadow...

After 2 jail breaks from their last enclosure, these little boys are settled into a new little kitten corner area. It's my old office/storage room, and now - kitten corner. They seem to like it! 😀

Callies is a SUPER vocal and polydactal female that would trive in a home with fewer cats! She's okay will cats in general, but can get stressed with too many friends in the house.

She thrives on attention and will literally crawl into your lap for pets.

*Petite Brown Tabby DSH
* Very needy and demands attention.
* A little bit of q trouble maker and will find her way into places you never thought of😅
* A home with one or two other non confrontational cats would suit her needs best.
* Okay with dogs, but has no problem standing up for herself.

Surprise! Dakota (black kitten) is actually a boy. So three brothers :). They are all doing well, and settling in. Just had their 2nd dose of dewormer, and 2 are getting eye drops and already looking much better. :)
Once they are neutered and ready to go, they'll be adoptable through RocKats TNR here in Rochester, NY. Can you help us find them their perfect forever home(s)?

Kittens are doing well. :) They've all been scared & hiding, but are starting to come out & explore.
We are thinking of calling them, Dakota (black female), Denver (cream male), & Dallas (orange&white male). Whaddaya think?
