🐾My name is Mistletoe and I’m a 2 year old Staffie mix
🐾I’m a deaf girl in need of a patient family (Experience with deaf dogs a big plus)
🐾I will need time and space to feel comfortable in a new environment
🐾A home with a secure fenced yard will keep me safe
🐾I’m a very smart girl and I’m learning commands. I know SIT and SHAKE and I know “thumbs up” means “good job” (I will need more training appropriate for deaf dogs)
🐾I LOVE to play with other dogs, but some dogs might not appreciate my super friendly and playful attitude (bring your dogs to meet me)
🐾I can startle easily and I would do best in a home without small children

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to let you know that our sweet boy Wally was helped over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Wally suffered from severe anxiety which took a toll on his quality of life. The shelter made the very difficult decision to let him go.
RIP Wally –You were dearly loved.
*This page is run by volunteers (not the shelter) and we would like to ask that ALL comments on this post be positive in memory of Wally and respectful to the volunteers and staff who spent time with him and showed him so much love. Any negative comments toward the shelter or volunteers will be deleted and users banned from our page. This sweet girl is not even a year old. She is now stuck in the shelter with a broken leg. Her leg is in a splint and is going to heal improperly causing her more pain in the future.
𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙈𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙇𝙀𝘿𝙂𝙀𝙎. All rescues are full and short on money! A foster will save her life and pledges will help get her proper care so she can heal properly and be a puppy again!
