Hello friends! We will be closed Monday April 8th due to the Solar Eclipse and the amount of extra traffic and tourists expected around the lake. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this once in a life time event!

Dawn’s Dog House will be CLOSED Friday
My house and shop are safe. However so many were not as fortunate and I am heartbroken for our community. Our thoughts go out to all the families and businesses impacted by this terrible disaster. 🙏❤️

In the meantime here is what we’re seeing on social media for places for food or shelter or to drop off donations…

🐾They’re requesting all volunteers to go to the russells point the municple building @ 9am.

🐾IL High School is taking donations. Water, non perishable food, blankets, clothes and medical supplies. It is also a place for shelter if you need it.

🐾The Roller Rink will also be open. They have power and will have food and water and a place to shelter tomorrow if anyone needs it. Shaeffers Smoked Meats look to be opening there around 11 am with free food for any member of the community who needs it. FROM SCAHEFFERS PAGE - Update 1:08am: we will be opening up at the Roller rink, 330 Taylor, Russell's Point tomorrow serving around 11am. This will be free! We will have hot coffee, hot dogs, mac & cheese, pulled pork, shredded chicken, beef & noodles, various fruits and whatever else we can come up with by then.

🐾Buckeye Pizza will be handing out pizza and water Friday in their parking lot

🐾Buckeye Pizzaria in Marysville is taking donations and will ensure they get to the lake FROM THEIR PAGE
Anyone wanting to donate for our friends at Indian Lake. Please feel free to drop it off here at Buckeye Family Pizzeria and we will deliver all items to the Indain Lake.

🐾 Indian Lake Community Church - from their Facebook post - The basement of the church is open as a shelter for anyone in need. Please join us in praying for our community.

🐾 Russell's Point Church Of God is open as a support center for tornado victims. They are collecting and providing necessities and meals there.

‼️ Calling all puppies 🐶 ‼️

We will be hosting Puppy Preschool right here in the clinic!!
All of those Christmas puppies can get a head start 😊
-Classes will begin January 24th at 6pm.
-All vaccines must have been started and continued to be updated through the 4 week course.
-Ages 8-20 weeks.
-$130 for all 4 classes.

Merry Christmas from Dawn’s Dog House and crew!! 🐾🎄 We groomed 144 dogs plus loads of walk-in services!! I really can’t say enough about this group of women(plus Randi who’s on maternity leave)! We all know we don’t really just “play with puppy’s all day.” This is hard, back breaking work, that is sometimes emotional and not for the weak. We love getting to know each dog a little bit more every time so it breaks our hearts when dogs get older and struggle or owners move away. Each and every one of us have emotional bonds with our clients and that makes our job one of a kind. Thank you to all of our faithful clients and my girls for making this the best year yet!! ♥️🎄🐾
