We had a visitor this weekend, and it wasn’t our neighbor’s dog that comes in the evenings so say hi to the horses!! It was a FOX! It got scared when the security camera light turned on! Poor thing!!

We got word!!!! Our Scooby b***y boy is ok!!!! For now, that is. Need to be checked again in 6 months, but we’ll take the win!!!! We are so grateful to our vet Dr. Ellen, Woodside equine and EMC (Marion DuPont Equine) for everything you’ve done for our boy and making sure he’s healthy; but mostly, safe to ride. It’s been an excruciating couple of months, yet knowing that we got a positive outcome makes all the worry and all the expenses worth it. Now, we’re off to continue training and turning this handsome boy into the amazing show horse we know he can be!!! The sky is the limit!! Scooby update: unfortunately the vet confirmed last Friday the heart murmur found while he was in the hospital for choke. Prognosis: unknown. He will have a heart ultrasound the first week of August, then we will know if it’s a normal occurrence (as it happens with many horses) or career ending. In the meantime, he’s at rest (for both his and Andreas’s safety) and we wait and pray for him and my princess so her boy doesn’t need to be retired before his career even begins. Prayers and lots of prayers needed!! 🙏🏻

Better late than never. Last weekend Lady stepped up for Andrea. Hasn’t practiced since December. Recovered from a pole injury. Has only been worked sporadically at home. Nonetheless, she went to lesson on a Tuesday, schooled on Friday, and did her first ever 2’6” show on Saturday. By no means perfect, yet placed well and got a lot of compliments. My Lady. My ❤️ horse. My champion!

Fun with the horses!!! Rosie was excellent while getting a new so. Super calm and loving. She even let the kids ride her ba****ck!! Then Scooby was an absolute dream with the littles.

Relaxation. Therapeutic. FUN!!! And more horses to ride!
