Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in our puppies or has purchased one. All the puppies have found their new homes. Our next litter will likely be in 2023. We will make an announcement when breeding begins. Until then, enjoy some of the photos taken of our puppies in their new homes.

After some unfortunate events, the family who planned on adopting our little yellow girl is unable to bring her to their home. We're sad for the family, but are optimistic for a new family that she will call her FURever home.

This bugaboo went to work today at a local teen homeless shelter. Usually mama goes, but since the pups were born she hasn't had a chance. The teens were eager for their puppy fix. ❤

We receive lots of questions on food, toys, and treats. Here's what we've found:

Food: We feed Royal Canin Golden Retriever. Temporarily we fed Iams Large Puppy for the extra fat proteins (importance since there are so many pups).

Toys: Balls of any kind or size, as well as frisbees. Sprockets will keep them busy for hours, and they love playing in the water. Mama has multiple beds but prefers to sleep on the floor.

Treats: We do a lot of homemade snacks, especially frozen veggies, as well as hardboiled eggs and salmon.

As always, check with your local vet too.

Wish us luck! There's just too many puppies to potty train how we normally do. So we're trying a litter box. I've heard great things from other breeders. The idea is this will help puppies be potty trained when they go to their forever homes. I will keep making the potty area smaller and smaller as they learn where to go.

About 2 weeks ago we introduced "puppy food." A mix of puppy milk, soft food, soaked dry puppy food, and water. Since then, we have slowly transitioned to soaked puppy food with water, soaking it less time each day. Today we introduced the puppies to dry (unsoaked) food and water separately. Some were not too sure about the plain food, but they all loved the water. They all continue to nurse as well.

Gave the puppies a bath (they were stinky! Lol). They loved it! Now they are dry and on a heating blanket, all curled up napping.

All the puppies went to the vet today at Banfield Pet Hospital and received all good reviews. They're growing well, no issues with their jaws, teeth, heart lungs, eyes, ears, skin or coats.

A close-up look at the pups - 27 days old (just shy of 4 weeks old). Drinking milk from a bowl (and still nursing), can see and hear. They are starting to play with toys and each other.

Ginger often nurses sitting or standing. I wasn't sure what that meant, so I did some research and found out studies show that puppies who nurse from a sitting or standing mama have higher intelligence and are more likely to be Guide dogs.

The puppies are big enough for their regular collars now. All of them stayed the same color, except gray is now dark pink. We have four girls and seven boys.

Today we moved the pups into the left side of the welping pin so mama could have a little time in small groups with her pups. She was so happy, and so are the puppies!
