Liquid gold! This year was an earlier season than usual and got a lot of syrup this year! Best year yet! The second batch is so sweet! It’s amazing!

So I did a 7 day ferment on red onions. But I made way too much! They need to go in the fridge… who wants one or two (I accidentally made 20 pints!)

I’ve been continuing to can during this month! I have plans for much more this week!

Last week I was reminded of the farmhouse with grandma, especially at holidays…

Do you remember those bright red spiced apple rings? Yeah…. So delicious!

I've been doing my version of Canuary - trying to can something as many days as I can (ha!)

I have been a canning fiend!

Therefore I will have small batches of fun stuff available to purchase soon.

Also, I am in need of jars! Any of you have pint and half pint jars that I can trade you for? Let me know!

Winter Jam CSA has returned!

Little Farm in the City’s winter jam CSA is 6 months of amazing jam, one jam a month, plus bonus jams. There are favorite jams and some new jams coming this year!

$35 for 6 months of summer into your house! 6 half pints of canned simmer in a jar. Deliveries will begin in November.
