🎀 Meet Lucy 🎀
Lucy is a 6 month old Chihuahua mix who is full of puppy energy and kisses!
Weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds, this spicy and independent girl is very smart and loves to play regardless of if you’re a person or animal. She has no clue how small she is and just wants to love and be loved.
Here’s what Lucy’s foster mom has to say:
“Lucy is friendly with all animals and people she has encountered. She gets so excited when she wants to play! She uses her little bark and runs around to engage cats or other dogs into a play session. She is super content sitting by your side on the couch with a benebone or other chew toy.
She definitely has a mind of her own and will need focused training to help her be her best self.”
Other facts about Lucy:
🐾 crate trained
🐾 spayed
🐾 up to date on vaccines and flea preventative
🐾 microchipped
🐾 not fond of the leash, but getting better
🐾 good with cats & dogs of all sizes
🐾 uses puppy pads but doesn’t have accidents when on an outside potty break routine

Did you know some of our animals available for adoption are in-house at the two PetSmart locations in Modesto?
This allows you to see the cats at your convenience during the regular business hours at PetSmart! If you are interested in meeting one of the animals at either PetSmart location, go to our website and fill out an adoption application. Upon approval, you will be contacted to schedule a time to meet your favorite!
There are 9 cats and kittens at the PetSmart on Sisk, and 8 cats and kittens at the PetSmart on McHenry. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
PetSmart store hours at both locations are:
⏰ Mon - Sat: 9am to 9pm
🧨 4th of July: Closing @ 6pm
⏰ Sun: 10am to 7pm
All kittens and cats who stay in-house are given fresh water, food and are played with daily by our volunteers!
