We are getting ready for Friday nights game show! We will run pole bending, a zigzag pattern, barrels and keyhole. We will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and walking tacos, so come hungry. Arena opens at 5! See you then.

Ok the next game show is on for Friday night at 6 pm. The arena opens at 5 pm. There will be burgers, hot dog, and more pulled pork! Way more food! We are running: pole bending, Bleeding Heart, Barrels, and horse shoe. Leadline will combine with wt group. See you Friday night and thankfully it looks warmer.

May 10th is just around the corner. We will do: pole bending, Bleeding Heart, barrels, horse shoe. We are also adding any leadliners to our walk/trot Division instead of having a leadline Division. And way more food, I promise. Pulled pork is coming back!!!

Kindred Spirit Farm, LLC located at 31191 Johnson Road Salisbury, MD now has 1 new boarding spots available. Our all new fencing is no climb horse fencing and/or 3 rail with a strand of electric at the top. When the grass is green, horses will have pasture turn out with 2 other horses that includes a run in shed. Once the grass loses its nutritional value, horses will move to a smaller location with a run in shed and have access to hay- 24/7. The run in sheds are functional currently at 36 X 12, but coming soon, they will get an additional roof making them 36 X 24 sheds. The sheds when finished will also have a locked private tack room for the three boarders as well as a private grooming/tacking area under roof for all weather conditions. The fields have automatic waterers for fresh and ground temperature water year round. Boarders have access to our Western Arena, English Arena, Round pen, and Indoor arena all with lights, as well as trails in and out of the woods and a list for archery. The farm hosts game shows, schooling shows, and clinics and events and has riding lessons that boarders can participate in year round. Someone is on the property almost all of the times. The farm feeds our grain once daily during an am feeding. (The farm does not blanket, feed supplements or feed extra feed, however, there are other options available for these from other boarders at the farm.) We currently have 12 happy boarders of all ages, riding skills, and riding interest at the farm. We will require vet and farrier references as well as current shots. Anyone familiar with Kindred Spirit Farm will tell you that we are always up to something new and we have several projects in the works. Wow.. just wow. Thanks to everyone who came out last night to our first game show of the series. I was unsure how a Friday night was going to go over and I obviously miscalculated as we ran out of all food in like 2 hours. (I will fix that next time!) And well 5 events took us till midnight so looks like we will cut that back to 4 events again. However- AcDelco pay outs for poles and barrels first place was 65 dollars. Opens pay out for poles first was $40 and barrels $50. Even I was debating running in acdelco again, lol. Thanks again to all of our help!! Without you we couldn't make it run and everyone who came out. (Thanks also for your patience as always as we often have several KSF horses and riders who are just learning.) See you all in May, with more food and 4 events as it was past my bedtime at 10 pm! Haha

We are a go for Friday night. I have been cooking all week- barbecue, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, so come hungry. Order of go: pole bending, Bleeding Heart, flag/horse shoe, barrels and then Amy Wilkinson Morandi fun game (hint it has something to do with the smiling emoji 😉😜😀😵‍💫😝). Arena opens at 5. Ok for our April show we are being creative to get everyone into the season with some fun and challenges. So our current line up looks like this with 35 KSF riders (we are missing 10 riders in the April show to fill all of our divisions):
1. Lead line and off leadline will run at same time at 9, judged separately (unless we get another leadline rider from outside then we will divide it)
2. Wt equitation will run as is at 930 ish
3. Wt pleasure will run as is at 10ish
4. Wtc equitation will run at 1030 ish
5. Wtc pleasure will run at 11 ish
6. The challenge division and barn babes will run together at 1130 ish, be judged together, points will go back separately and will be: walk, walk/trot, pattern, and trail class.
7. Mini and Beginner will run together after lunch, judged together, but points will go back separately unless we get another mini rider from outside for this show.
8. KSF riders will ride green horses in walk, walk/trot, walk/trot/canter, and then do 2 courses for long stirrup on different horses.

They are for kids age 5 to 10, Monday to Friday 9 to 4. The themes are Crazy Scientist week, Creative Arts camp, and Pirates Week. The themes revolve around the crafts and the games they play. They ride 4 days out of the week, as well as all the other horse activities on the farm! Plus petting zoo activities with our pig, chickens, goats, donkey, and sheep. And lots of fun water activities on those hot days! These camps are all ready half filled, so text 4437836776 to find out more information and get a slot. They are $200 dollars for the week! Our next and last game show is 11/11 at 12 pm. The arena opens at 11. We will run pole bending, horse shoe, bleeding Heart, zig zag, and barrels all in the western arena. Pulled pork, hot dogs, and hamburgers for lunch, so come hungry. Year end prizes are coming in slowly and fingers crossed the buckles make it in time, its going to be close! Here is the run down: we will run pole bending in the western arena and flag horse shoe in the English starting at 12. Then we will run Bleeding Heart in the western arena and Zig Zag in the English arena. We will then run barrels with more added money- 12 and under added $50, 13 - 18 added $50, and open added $100. NO GOAT TYING OR BREAKAWAY at this game show! We will be selling pulled pork, hot dogs, and hamburgers for lunch! Rain date Friday 13th at 6 pm.
