Time for a fish that isn’t a betta; Domino! Domino is a male opaline/three spot gourami that we plan to breed in the future when we find a female for him! For now, he’s in recovery as he’s is a rescue!

This is our only other female at this moment; Isis! She’s also a halfmoon, and we’re not sure who to pair her with yet. Any suggestions?

you met the boys, now it’s the girls! this is sushi, our lovely casper’s pair! They are a great pair; last time they were together there was absolutely no aggressive behavior, which was very interesting to see! She kept swimming over to him instead of him chasing her.

Another hopeful prospect: Storm! Stormy is a koi plakat with a unique relationship with the marble gene. He used to be blue and white and now is fully black! We think he would be great with a white or koi female and he’s very sweet natured!

another one of our planned dads: Casper! Casper is a blue and white twin tail halfmoon that we plan to breed with sushi, our yellow and black halfmoon. The two have been conditioned with eachother and already know eachother well so hopefully it should go smoothly!

I’m starting this little series called meet the parents! This is going to be one of our first dads: Panda! He is a red samurai dragonscale halfmoon plakat. We plan to pair him with a red dragonscale female in the next two weeks. Make sure to follow for updates!

Here’s the fish that started it all! My sweet boy Hermes. I miss him every day. He was the first Betta I got that I actually did proper research for and cared for him as well as I could. He’s the one who started both my addiction, and my desire to make other fishes and peoples lives better. I miss you sweet prince 💙
