I see so many signs on the side of the road for pure bred puppies for sale. It's frustrates me because there are SO many dogs in shelters looking for a home and get overlooked because "we don't know what we'll get with a rescue". Sadly these babies are in shelters because they were left behind by someone who thought a dog should come fully trained and behave to a T. Look in the mirror, you had to be taught as you grew up yourselves. (Sadly that is questionable with the way things are today, but I digress). Give a shelter dog a chance. All they want is to be loved and to serve you. Some just need more time and patience than others. As do we...

Princess Leia...
To see what these babies have gone through is so heartbreaking and all they want to do is to love someone and be loved. Since I started volunteering, it has been bittersweet. To see what they have been through and also to see the many people that are volunteering their time to save as many dogs as they can, is truly amazing. They don't deserve to be treated the way they are being treated. It breaks my heart to see them in the conditions they are found in. BUT they are resilient and just need a little help recovering from their trauma. Please pass this girl around and help her find her forever loving home!
