💖Welcome, Poppy! 💖

This adorable Maltipoo might be small in size, but she’s got a New York-size personality to match her energy for daaaayzzzzz! ✨

We’re diving into foundational obedience training, focusing on the essentials like staying calm and—ahem—learning to sit still (work in progress 😉). Boundaries are a big part of our plan too, as her amazing owner Samantha prepares for an exciting new chapter—becoming a mom! 💕👶

Already halfway through her sessions, so much success has already happened toward our goals and Poppy’s family could not be happier with the results! This amazing dog is thriving with her training, and I couldn’t be prouder of her progress! 🌟🐶

Say hello to this playful and adventurous doodle who’s already making strides in his training journey! This clever guy is working on foundational obedience and doing an amazing job mastering the walk while focusing on what matters most: his incredible owners, Joey and Sarah.

🌟 Fun Fact About Doodles: Doodles are known for their intelligence and adaptability, making them quick learners. Combine that with their affectionate nature, and you’ve got a breed that’s as fun to train as they are to have as a companion.

I have been so impressed by Joey and Sarah’s thoughtfulness and responsibility as new dog owners. They sought out training with me even before bringing Archie home, it was such a wonderful way to set everyone up for success!

🌟 Welcoming Scottie, the newest (and handsomest!) Golden Retriever of the Little Wolf pack!

This dreamy creamsicle is a total heart-stealer with his playful confidence and absolutely charming personality that lights up every training session we do. 🧡

Did you know? Golden Retrievers are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and complete love for life’s adventures.

They were originally bred for retrieving wild game, making them natural-born swimmers and apt to put EVERYTHING in their mouth to carry around proudly!

Growing up with several Goldens myself, I’ve always had a soft spot for this amazing sweet tempered breed.

A huge shoutout to Scottie’s owners, Frankie and Emily for their incredible dedication to his training so far.

We are already a few session in and their thoughtful questions, commitment, and love for Scottie truly shine through in their commitment to doing the work and trusting the process.

I’m so excited for the journey ahead together. Here’s to more learning, growth and success ! 🐕💫

It’s official!! ✅ The pack just completed their first rainy day pack walk of the season, and it was nothing short of exhilarating!

There’s something magical about stepping out with the pack in the rain – the scent of fresh earth, the cold air, crimson fallen leaves, and the energy that only a rainy day brings. 🌲💦

The dogs loved it of course, enjoying walking through puddles and soaking up the new smells.

Days like these remind me of the joy in life’s simple moments. Everytime I go outside, no matter what the weather, I am always refreshed and happy I did. Especially when I get to share it with these amazing dogs!!

Thankyou Zeke, Aura, Diesel, Raven, Enzo, Bosley and Luna for the fun pack walk and your amazing company today.

🐾 Welcome, Lennox! 🐾

I am thrilled to welcome Lennox, an adorable, high-spirited Cockapoo, to the Little Wolf Puppy Foundational Program!

This little guy is gifted with both soul and swagger, is full of energy, curiosity, and so much charm—he’s already bringing tons of joy to his family and all who get to know him !

Want to learn more about this breed? Here are a few fun facts about Cockapoos:

✨ They’re a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle, combining the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the sweet, playful nature of the Cocker Spaniel.

✨ Cockapoos are known for their affectionate personalities and do very well as a family dog. They’re great with kids and have a high play drive making it a great opportunity to bond with the young humans of the household.

✨ They’re quick learners, which makes training so rewarding, catching onto new skills easily , always ready for the next challenge.

Raising a puppy is an exciting adventure, and it’s important to start right away with the basics! Here are a few essential tips for puppy owners:

1️⃣ Build Confidence: Providing structure and plenty of leadership direction from day shapes a confident puppy to grow into a balanced adult dog. Most puppies are given wayyyyyyy too much freedom too soon and affection over direction. Eliminate the confusion and limit freedom until your pup is ready for that. Reinforce behaviors you do want and redirect the ones you don’t.

2️⃣ Routine and Boundaries: Set a consistent schedule for crate time throughout the day, feeding, potty breaks, and bedtime. Puppies thrive on structure and need a LOT of sleep. By having a routine, you set your puppy up for success.

3️⃣ Gentle Handling and Basic Manners: Practice handling your puppy’s paws, ears, and tail early on, and start with basic commands to lay the foundation for good behavior. Just as importantly, teach the kids of the household how to properly give affection. No hugging, squeezing, or kissing the face.

🎉 Sending a HUGE Congratulations to my recent graduates Lanie, , her husband Matt and their amazing dog Reggie who successfully completed their Foundational Obedience program! 🎓🐾

Through dedication and consistency, despite the demands of a busy life, they have made incredible progress along their training journey. Their commitment has paid off, and it’s been a true honor to witness the growth in their dog’s obedience, new skills developed and bond towards balance with them.

Giving your dog affection is a favorite element to dog ownership! But did you know when you give that love can impact their behavior?

Here are the key benefits of showing affection only when they’re calm:

1. Promotes Relaxation:

Rewarding calm behavior teaches your dog that being relaxed gets them the attention they crave. Over time, they’ll naturally seek out a calm state to receive your affection.

2. Reduces Excitement & Anxiety:

When we pet or engage with dogs while they’re overly excited or anxious, it reinforces that heightened energy. Focusing on calm moments helps reduce jumping, barking, and other impulsive behaviors.

Now I know doodles are the hot trend of recent years but guess what!! It’s time to represent and showcase the O.G. dog who started it all with their high intelligence and shed free fur…the POODLE!!

It is my pleasure to introduce to all of you the gorgeous and super talented mini Poodle ✨Hilda ✨to the Little Wolf pack.

This silvery raven beauty is a young, sweet, and lovingly curious girl ready to prance her way to greatness under the Foundational Obedience Program.

Hilda is already a few sessions in and showing so much potential with her ability to take direction and learn new skills.

She in fact is THRIVING under her training program , becoming a different dog before her owners very eyes with even the simplest of changes with structure through a crate schedule , boundaries in the home,
and learning the value of following vs attempting to bounce, jump and hop through life attempting to get her way. Yes, she’s a character!!!

Her owners Summer and Kevin are having a blast learning how to be the best leaders for their pup and are doing an amazing job at it! They ask the best questions and are super engaged in the process week after week!

I am so exited for what is to come for this girl and the wonderful life of new experiences that are ahead of her.

Want to meet the next up and coming Super Star??? ⭐️

Then you are following the right insta page as it is my pleasure to introduce to all of you an amazing star in the making, the incredible Morty!!! 👏

Morty is a young chocolate Labrador Retriever who has joined the Little Wolf Pack for the Foundational Obedience series to get some skills under his belt.

My favorite thing about him so far is just being memorized by his stunning eyes that pierce your soul when he gazes upon you.

He is playful, affectionate , outgoing and very, very, VERY eager to test all the boundaries in the name of being a vivacious, energetic Labrador puppy, lol .

Morty is a very lucky dog as his owner Alexandra has eagerly embraced the commitment to her leaderhsip role and is happily establishing new rules and boundaries for both Morty to follow.

This handsome chocolate hunk is already a few sessions in and we are starting to work on him learning the value of follow mode in a loose leash walk, compliance to commands, and listening for direction instead of creating his own.

Morty is going to go far with his eagerness to learn and working breed drive. I am so honored and excited to have him on board and support him as his trainer to reach the stars while becoming one !!

✨Fun Fact✨One of my all time favorite breeds is the loyal and majestic German Shepherd. I love everything about them, from their gorgeous physique to their high drive and focused mindset genetically coded for work.

You can imagine my absolute glee when this absolutely stunning specimen of a Shepherd joined the Little Wolf Pack for training. I literally had to pull my jaw up from off the ground as it was love at first sight. 😍❤️😍

Therefore it is my pleasure to introduce to all of you the amazing Koda!!!

We are already a few sessions in and Koda is off to a wonderful start learning how to be in a follow mindset with a new crate schedule to give him structure throughout the day along with enjoying fulfillment through place work , working for food , and looking to his owners for leadership direction for his newly assigned jobs.

This boy is going to go so far along his training journey and I am so excited for the goals and plans his owners and I have set together to bring Koda to his fullest potential.

One of our main focuses after laying the foundation will be targeting Koda’s dog reactivity teaching him how to feel calm and balanced around his fellow canines, paving the way so his world of adventure can open up.

I can’t wait to share updates with all of you on Koda’s progress and am honored to be his trainer and guide back to balance.

Can an old dog learn new tricks?

ABSOLUTELY!! 💯

Senior dogs are not only trainable , but they can thrive learning new skills and improved patterns of behavior in their older age.

That being said, it is my pleasure to introduce Maxwell to the Little Wolf pack!

This handsome boy is 9 1/2 years young and still makes the ladies blush and blow kisses with every glance he sends their way.

Maxwell is already a few sessions in and we are well on our way to building amazing new skills to boost his confidence and give sparkle to his senior s***k .

Proper greeting manners are being applied as a new rule and dog neutrality training has begun to focus on teaching him new, more balanced choices of behavior around his fellow canines to reshape his patterned reactivity.

What I love about Maxwell is he loves to learn, is enthusiastic and super engaged in the work , not to mention sharp as a whip when being taught new skills.

I am so excited to be Maxwells trainer and guide to enjoying his continued senior years in balance and harmony . It’s time to live life with peace and love vibes only!

Who dat’ gorgeous girl smiling back at me? Why that’s Lilly, the absolutely stunning Frenchie who has joined the Little Wolf pack for training !

This girl is always camera ready with her beautiful hazel eyes that sparkle hints of gold and green, complimenting her steel grey coat perfectly for that drop dead gorgeous look.

True to a Frenchie’s vibe, she is playful, tenacious, comical, super affectionate and ready to fulfill her bully drive at the drop of a hat.

As a main focus of her training program we will be working with Lilly on developing better skills and patterns of behavior to practice around her fellow canines to help reshape her dog reactivity.

Lilly has a pack mate at home named Rosy who she has a wonderful relationship with, so expanding her world of engagement with other dogs creating trust, a feeling of safety and bonds through pack work while teaching her neutrality is going to be so fun to do with her.

Her owner Damian is fully on board with the process and has already shown so much interest and enthusiasm for the training journey we are embarking on. Damian is looking forward to being able to take Lilly on plenty of new adventures enjoying her companionship as a balanced dog void of reactivity .

This little dude may be small in size but his personality and charm is larger than life!

Everyone introducing to all of you the charismatic Reggie to the Little Wolf pack!

We are already several sessions into his training program and this boy is making so much progress, especially around having less freedom and more structure in the house setting via a crate schedule as well as implementing rules and boundaries to follow.

Reggie is quick as a whip and loving learning his foundational commands, on his way to nailing the down, a solid recall and soon to come Place work.

I absolutely love training with Reggie and his devoted family who want nothing but the best life for their dog full of happiness, balance and adventure .

Reggie is set up for a lifetime of success with his training program and I am so honored to be a partner of his journey.

Here’s a dog who needs very little introductions as his face says it all : I’m a cutie patootie !!!

Introducing to all of you the magical Teo, all the way from Hawaii as his original home, relocating to Cali and has been living the California dream vet since.

Teo is a wonderful mixture of outgoing and inquisitive in nature with a very intelligent mind for picking up on new skills quickly.

We are already a few sessions in and this boy has mastered crate training, place work and is well on his way to becoming a pro at the loose leash walk.

As we lay the foundation, the bigger challenge and behavior modification to support Teo with will be his fears of walking outside of his familiar home. His response mechanism is to go into flight, so a big part of Teo’s training focus will be to recondition his flight response to one of confidence and balance in follow mode, listening to his owners leadership direction as a guide to what jobs to do that do not involve wanting to take off in the opposite direction.

Teo’s owner is extremely dedicated to the process and his leadership role of calm, patient communication.

I am so excited to be working with Teo helping open up a whole new world of adventure with new places to walk and explore while feeling at ease in his environments. So much great progress has been made so far, I can’t wait to give updates for what’s ahead!

A good conversation to have is the one we have with ourselves on a daily basis. Be kind to yourself with your inner dialogue and self talk.

Big changes don’t happen in one day or one training session.

Instead, with daily practice, the changes happen in little increments over time, leading to big changes as the end result.

If you are putting in the effort, you are doing great! Trust the process , stay tunnel visioned on the goal in front of you rather than the long term result .

The results will come as the reward of staying focused and not losing momentum.

The first expectation to set is to believe in yourself and trust in your abilities to make the small changes happen so the big changes have space to grow .

One of my absolute favorite breeds is the majestic and loyal German Shepherd. I have always loved and enjoyed training this highly intelligent, motivated working breed and have to admit my heart goes pitter patter every time a Shepherd comes my way. Therefore it is my absolute pleasure to introduce to all of you the STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS Haikoo who has recently joined the Little Wolf Pack for training !! 💗😍🥰 Haikoo is a 3 year old German Shepherd who comes from a regal bloodline, having been born in Germany then traveling to the US to be united with her dedicated owners Krishna and Archana. @nikrishnaa @archana.jaganathan We are a few sessions in and have already begun setting the foundation by providing boundaries , rules and structure in the home as well as utilizing crate training & a crate schedule. Additional layers will involve building real world skills so this girl can proudly walk with a loose leash by her owners side in a FOLLOW mindset , as well as redirecting her reactivity to dogs and her environment to one of neutrality, balance and calmness.
