Giving your dog his/her own vacation while you're away. Kennel boarding is expensive, unsafe, and traumatizing for your dog. My clients pick up their dogs from my home after Holiday and instantly notice their dog is less stressed than after a stay in a kennel. Have a sense of peace while you're away that your furry loved one is in a caring, stress-free environment. It's the best way to go next to
keeping your furry loved one at home. Which is a service i also offer! Give me a text, or drop me an email, and let's plan your dog's next vacation!

So, until today I haven't posted much, primarily because I haven't been on facebook a whole lot, but also because I didn't want to have to post the loss of a cherished family member. My brother and sister in law's little Frenchie who I've shared on here numerous times, and whom I loved very dearly, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. It was especially hard for them and they had to get another Frenchie to try and fill the void Bella's passing left. So the result is this pretty rambunctious, GORGEOUS specimen of the breed, who they call Buddy Clyde. I was fortunate enough to be able to furbaby sit him this weekend and now he's very well acquainted with his cousins, Jacopo and Dax, and his new aunt...ME! He's very, very, different from Bella, and that void will never fully be filled, but at least there is Buddy Clyde to give that love to. He's a little sweetie who needed a new family. Now he has plenty of both. Welcome, Buddy boy....we LOVE YOU!

Ebony and Lil Bit are such sweetie pies! They love having their private space and time alone in the yard. They prefer limited play time with my rambunctious puppy, Jacopo. The other two fur babies whose names are still on the rack, all went home earlier this week.

Baus and Billy! Such beautiful kitties!

...because it's a pug...in JAMMIES! lol

Here are the other three kitties we've had, two of which we're gettng again this week. The little Siamese is Hoppi, and the two males together are Billy and Baus. Billy is an EXACT twin of my ragdoll that I lost at age 21 back in 2020. Baus (pronounced Boss), the tabby, had the attitude of a junkyard dog and wouldn't even let his momma touch him! Hoppi was another HUGE love bug. Unfortunately her momma is taking her with her for this trip.

We've had a slew of kitty boarders back to back, and I've loved every bit of it! So many different personalities and attitudes! This beauty, named Vannah, just went home today, was with us for five days. For the first three days, she would NOT let me touch her. In fact, she was hissy, spatty, and just an all around grumpy camper! This wouldn't be uncommon or unexpected for any kitty having their entire world turned upside down, but especially for an unsocialized kitty. Even though she was eating and using the litter box, she seemed to just hate me and wanted nothing to do with me. I gave her her space and listened to the changes in her meows until I could tell she was starting to get lonely and the sweet meows started happening when I'd talk to her. So on day four, I stuck my hand in her kennel, and she popped her head right out and rubbed her face on my arm! I picked her up and it turns out, she's a face kitty! She was rubbing her face on my face as though we'd always been best friends, and she was just a completely different kitty from then on! I was so happy! And her daddy says she did very well once she was back home and he thinks the socialization helped her. I sure hope we get her again! Here is day one verses day four...

It was so much fun having Tiggy and Max together for the first time in I can't remember how long! They are brothers from different litters and belong to different families. Max is very large for a yorkie, and Tiggy is very small, so you'd never guess they're full brothers. They're also close to the same age with maybe only a year difference. I think Max is the eldest, and he must be pushing 10 by now. I've been boarding them since they were very young. Max was eight weeks old, and Tiggy about six months. I keep the really small dogs separated from all the other dogs, even though they're all small dogs. Yorkies are just so extra small! it's best for their safety. They really enjoyed being together and played nearly the whole day I had them both!

The Tiggynator's in the HOUSE!!! Three pounds of cuddlebug, right here! By a lucky twist of fate, I'm getting his brother from another litter tomorrow so they'll get to see each other for at least part of the day. ❤️❤️❤️

We had a great time last weekend with my niece, Bella, the Frenchie. She always makes me laugh! She resembles so many different species of animal, depending on what she's doing at the time. Her most common resemblance is to the rhinorceros, but walrus and hippo are up there, too. When she does this, she reminds me of a little seal. Too cute to p**p!!!
On another note, I'll be limiting the amount of new clients I can take over the winter months until this respiratory thing that's going around subsides or they develop a vaccine for it. Thank you for your understanding! I do still have some availability, so don't be shy to drop me a text to check.

It's doxie time again! Four doxies and two pugs are a really great combination! I love how the doxie's pile up like pugs tend to do, except they're burrowers. Can you tell how many doxies are in that doxie pile? lol

We are heartbroken to hear that Fonzee has passed away. He was a hard sell in the beginning, but once he warmed up to you, he was the biggest lover! I was honored to have gained his trust and to have known him these past several years. Much love to his momma who I'm sure is just devastated. We're going to miss you, sweet Fonzee

Had a wonderful time with our two new guests, Ebony (black boy), and Lil Bit (fawn boy). What a couple of sweethearts! Can't wait to have them again in December. Jacopo managed to photo bomb the foreground lol :)

We have doxies in the house, woot woot!! Jack, Jill and Nena are spending the weekend, and we always love having them! Here the girls sorta kicked Jack out of the kennel, but they eventually let him back in. They're such well-behaved and easily entertained people! lol

We have been very slow over the past month, but I needed the break. It's finally picking up again and I'm rearing to go! Here are a few of our latest boarders; all regulars, hence the larger dogs! Hope everyone is enjoying our transition into AUTUMN!

slowing my roll for the month of August to take a healing stay-cation as I self-treat my cancer recurrence. I will be taking a very limited amount of dogs during that month, so please text for my availability. In the meanwhile, here are some sweet pictures of our current boarder, Pepper, and Marshall who just went home.

Oliver passed away a week ago Monday. It's been very difficult getting used to this new life without him, but it was definitely time for him to move on. Here are some of the last photos taken of him, along with the two juvenile delinquints, and Buddy, that a student photographer took last month. She did an excellent job, don't you think?
04/03/2023
We had a great time taking care of Ariel and Titus! Titus is the mini who is 17 years old, and Ariel is 24. It took them a few days to warm up to me, but when they finally did, it was wonderful! I think it was all the carrots I gave them lol! I love my job :)

Vacation is a very serious business! Our residents for the week are Bella, the Frenchie; Bullseye, the heeler; and Maya, the Yorkie. The itty bitty photo bomber is Jacopo, my new pug puppy! I'll include a better pic of him.

Our 6 weekend party gurests are leaving today, all but one! We welcomed the doxy's, Jack, Jill, and Nana, the doxy puppy, Ramon, and the two chi's, Fonzee, and Zsa Zsa. Everyone got along great, and Dax was the happiest puppy in the world having so many dogs to play with!
02/04/2023
So relieved, yet missing these two babies; especially the sweet, yet torrential, Kali! ! Hope they have full, happy lives!

So sweet!

Had a great weekend with the golden girls, Sophie and Darby. They were so excited to see Dax, and the feeling was mutual!

A part of this year's Christmas crew! More are yet to come!
The doxy's; Harry and Sophia, and the Shar pei's; Kilo and Kali.

The California condor could go extinct unless hunters abandon lead-based ammunition when hunting in their habitat. Take action!

Last weekend was very full and very fun! We had eleven mouths to feed, if I include my own and the two cats! Everyone got along beautifully, even with a four month old puppy in the mix! New romances were forged (Buddy and Sammie), and best friends were reunited for endless playtime (Dax and again, Sammie). Ramon the Dachshund is the puppy, and we had Tiggy, Stella, and Patrick, too. The ten food bowls was the typical morning and evening meal-times with everyone being on different diets, but it became like second nature after the first day!

Dog Sitting
We have had Krista watch our doggie a few times now and he just loves her. She always sends a little photo of lou lou while were away. Last time she came over he was jumping up and down and quite ready to walk out the door with her. Krista is super responsive and reliable and I always feel a lot less stress knowing our dog is with her, well cared for and happy.

Our two pugs love going to ‘Tails at Home’. Even though our local boarding kennels took great care of our little ones, the dogs always hated going to the kennels because of the noise of all the other dogs barking. They always looked traumatized when we picked them up. Now when we take them to Krista they are so happy. They play with her dogs and are much more relaxed when we bring them home again. We travel a lot so it is good to know they are happy while we are away and we never have to worry about them. I'm sure you will feel comfortable using Krista's pet sitting services too. Chris N
