ISO CUTTING HORSE FOR CUSTOMER:

A backup/practice cutting horse. Ideally this is a horse that is pretty honest to work the flag with an amateur at home that hauls in for lessons on cattle. This client is looking for something fun and easy to ride, competitive enough for local club shows and some weekend NCHA events. Some criteria to consider -

"𝐇𝐮𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐧" (𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞)

This is one SOLID gelding that stays fat on air and has the kind of feet you’d want to sell pics of on OnlyFans. Completely barefoot and hardly requires a trim as he currently sits.

Hudson here is a classic case of the “Was sold to a family as a beginner horse that has thousands of miles of ranch experience” only to turn out it’s not that great of a fit. I will say - I can see the reasons why he was sold as such, but not all great ranch horses make good family horses. I just don’t think he enjoys suburban/family living, I think he is bored in the arena. From what I gather, this is a rock pounding kind of trail horse or a straight up work animal. He has the world’s comfiest gaits, a soft little neck rein and a decent stop/backup, which leads me to believe he was someone’s main mount for a while. He’s not going to lope pretty circles but he rides outside nicely and has a smooth, upbeat walk without being hot. Not a watchy or spooky horse by any means, I felt totally safe on him. Think he flinched once at a distant loud noise. I actually quite like this gelding, he is an absolute gentleman on the ground and loves attention.

The ugly… and the quirks.
Homeboy here has an ugly sarcoid situation going on, including under his left front elbow area which has me recommending a soft fleece cinch for him. Per current owner, has not gotten worse in the time she has owned him.

Going to be best suited for a confident, intermediate+ rider. I’m not saying you have to be an aggressive rider, but he does have a tick of an attitude problem that can be easily corrected by someone who knows how to just stick it to one a couple of times. I’m happy to elaborate. I personally would love to see him go be someone’s day-working horse, or someone’s main mount for the trails who doesn’t like to ride in the arena.

Beautiful prospect to go in any direction - but I think she'd make a wicked cool barrel horse for someone to take a chance on. I'd even venture to say this filly is kind enough a handy youth rider could bring her along with supervision.

This filly is where old school bloodlines meet the modern-day show horse. What an absolutely pretty bay roan yearling filly by a son of 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 (Leo Hancock Hayes) out of a dtr of the late 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣 & 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙧𝙚, 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

"Rupee" is going to have some size to her! She has a nice smooth stride and a lofty step.
