And set time of the year again where fireworks are going to be set off for the next couple months and most animals have high anxiety around this time of year. I wanted to offer some ways to help relieve their anxiety to make them relax so they don't go missing.

1.radio on loud
2. Tv on loud
3. CBD CALMING TREATS
4.Thunder vests
5. Rapping in a burrito and snuggle them til tou both fall alseep.
6.medication from your local Veterinarian

Also, if ur animals doesnt have a collar, please go get one with your correct information on it so we can get them home safely.

Zora is a youngster through and through! Life is a party and Zora wants to be in attendance! Growing up in a shelter is tough for a young gal. Zora would do best with a dog savvy home that is willing to give her the training and structure she craves. She is smart, affectionate, active, is treat motivated and good with other dogs. Zora is looking for a home that will help him/her reach his/her full potential and be the best girl she can be!

Adoptions are first come first serve at Salt Lake County Animal Services. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM - 6 PM.

Let's keep our pets safe this weekend! Keep reading for more tips on firework pet safety!

* More pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year

* Make sure your microchip info is up to date and/or ID tags are on and up to date

*Keep pets inside with doors and windows closed

* Give them a safe place to hide

* Play calming music or background noise

* If needed speak with your vet about medication options

* Be sure to clean up any firework debris prior to letting your pets out once the fireworks are done for the evening

Hello my beautiful clients, I recently finding out I'm going to have surgery on July 29th and I will be down for about 2 weeks. Hopefully it will be sooner more than later but for now we'll keep it at that so I will be available the second week of August.
