Video of Benji schooling this morning and last week

I tried several times to add the videos to the horse ads, but it’s not happening. So here’s Al’s video demonstrating his tolerance and demeanor. He’s a saint!

Next up, Benji (jc Made for Profit) is a 5 yr old gelding; all class in this one. He’s pretty, the hack winner with that metronome canter, brave, jumps with the same style over every jump, regardless of the rider; has both lead changes as well! He was started by a professional event rider; he’s very well educated on the flat and doesn’t bat an eye at fences. This one came about two months ago, and after a month he had a growth spurt! So we backed off on his over fences training during that time; now he’s evened out and happy to be back and challenged. That being said, this horse is not ready for a novice rider yet as he is highly intelligent and a quick learner. But he will be the winner of the 3’ TIP division at shows like wec and wef; he’s that nice! He also has that in your pocket personality. Current owner has video of him schooling at wec and hits before she bought him last march; video from his rides here from today and last week are posted in the comments. They will be updated as we ask more of him again; he’s a favorite of mine to ride! Asking

I’ll be listing a few of our thoroughbreds that we are offering for sale; starting with Al. Al is a 15 yr old gelding with four exceptionally clean legs and comes with the most comfortable, uphill canter! Al would be the ideal ‘family’ horse, a newer rider’s first horse, 4h horse, and the best trail horse. He was a trail and pleasure horse when we got him; he goes both English and western. Over the past couple months we have focused on continuing his over fences training and he’s taken to it really well! Videos in the comment section; PM for more information! Asking 75🥕🥕
Al is located in sanford, fl just minutes away from 417 and lake Mary.

Whew, that was a long weekend! With all the usual ups and downs included….but overall a great experience! The goal was met for kimber; they placed in every over fences round out of 28-32 riders! They made the call back for both of their finals to finish 10th in both! Jack questioned Melise a couple times over the weekend, but a change of spurs solved that issue. They ended sat with a 2nd,5th,6th in the adult hunter; then Sunday 7th in the medal finals and 4th in the hunter finals. Nicole and Kandy had a slight gps malfunction in their first meter finals round that unfortunately led to faults sat, but laid down another beautiful trip on Sunday to move up from 14th to 9th. They also finished champion in their adult division! Well done to the riders and their horses!

Another great day of showing; we couldn’t be more proud of our horses!!❤️🤩 Melise led us off in the (scary) indoor for the younger adult hunters, ending with two 2nds and a 3rd. Kimber and Liz finished reserve champion in the baby green hunters. Lila and kimber have kept up our goal of placing in every o/f round this show with a 5th,8th out of 25 low children’s hunters. And Nicole and Kandy laid down a blazing low adult jumper speed round to win again!!! The championship finals classes start tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

The rest of the show day went well, too! Lila and kimber returned for the low children’s eq to finish 2nd,4th out of 17. Nicole and Kandy rocked their meter class for the win!!🏆

Another weekend, another horse show with other team members! The jumpers led us off Friday evening at GOHJA; Carissa and Gracie were literally the first pair of the show to ride. Gracie gave her a little trouble starting off, but they finished respectably for a 4th,5th. Jillian and autumn were next to show, setting two blazing jump offs to win two classes and finish champion. Bella and Teagan came back to show after a hiatus; they had a blue ribbon warm up trip, a gps failure trip 🙈, and then a solid last round to take a 2nd. Jacqui and Oscar finished our evening in the child/adult jumpers; he’s become such a solid partner for her! They were 1,2 and champion❤️
Saturday, we started off with 2’9” and 3’ horses. Liz and kimber won a schooling hunter trip, lila and kimber won a green hunter trip to finish reserve champion in the division, and won the child/adult u/s. Melise and jack got their groove back on; finishing champion in the child/adult hunters. Over to the xrail ring, Beth and judge showed their first time together; we couldn’t be happier with him! They finished with a 3rd in the hunters; then 1,2 and champion in the equitation☺️ Erin and cooper finished off our weekend; he started with a great warm up trip, but then the baby horse came out, he lost focus on his job and fixated on people outside the ring. BUT, Erin dug deep and finished with a very respectable second round! Cooper is really learning how to use his body correctly and giving her some great jumping efforts.

We skipped in for a quick showing at grand oaks before heading back home a day early to prepare for ‘Debby’ and her 6 inches of predicted rain fall🙈….’and so it begins’ (storm season, that is). Darcy and benji completed their first show together, finishing reserve champion Friday in the xrail hunters and champion on Saturday in the schooling hunters. Jessa and Elmo did their first full show together, too and finished champion in the xrail hunters on Saturday. Jessa and Boeing finished reserve champion of the combined child/adult eq division Saturday. Liz and princess played in the pleasure Saturday and were respectable; finishing 3,4,5. Ellis and her boy joined us this wknd and finished reserve champion in the thoroughbred jumpers. And Nicole and kandy joined us Saturday afternoon with a beautiful first round in the 1m jumpers and a learning experience in the second😁 we have a busy month ahead, with two more schooling shows and SEMF finals!

Putting ‘starting feelers’ out for this boy, ‘Call Me Al’. He is a teenager thoroughbred, 16.1ish but big build (rider in photo is 6’) with 4 clean legs. He’s still green to the sport of being a hunter/jumper show horse, but he has lots of miles as a trail horse, including road riding. He’s lovely to handle, gets along with people, horses and dogs. Very husband safe horse!! He’s comfortable and is showing an aptitude towards jumping; I’ll get video this coming week as we get him into shape. 75🥕🥕

We have been continuing to have fun in ocala! Thursday, Gracie gave Carissa trouble getting started around the course; she did NOT approve of the extra shrubbery🙈🤦‍♀️🤣 they managed to pull it together enough in their 2nd round to finish with a 7th. This morning, Carissa came out ready to get it done; they did great and were 4th for their efforts. Lily and Balaton on Thursday won their .80 round ⭐️ , but had an unfortunate early rail in their Friday .80 round, but they moved into the .90’s after and had a stellar speed round to finish 4th in the juniors. Fianna and Queenie have been consistent all week, but just couldn’t get their clear round on Thursday. But today, they put it together for a beautiful double clear .85m round and were 3rd for their efforts❤️ Jen and Simon had a quick; clean .90 adult round for 2nd! Riley and Moe were also total rockstars, finishing 5th In a super competitive 1m class (top 6 were all within tenths of a second of each other!) and 3rd in the .90 adult class. Great job ladies!!

We had a fabulous day one with the horses at wec week 5! After Carissa and Gracie won the very first class of the day, Riley and Moe tackled a super fun slice and dice speed course in the 1m to grab a 4th against the pros. Lily and Balaton started in the .80’s, finishing 4th; then went on to finish with a 6th in the .85m. It’s only their 3rd show together as a team, and their first rated show. Jen and Simon are really coming together now as a team, too and finished 3rd in the open .85 and had a cheap, final rail in the their round😭 Fianna and Queenie finished off the day for us putting in a clear round in the .85m, finishing just out of the ribbons. We are looking forward to the rest of the week!

It’s a week of great birthday girls! Fianna turns 19 today; she and Queenie joined us for the week to play in the .85’s; they were great! Clean first round to end up just out of the ribbons, and a great time in the second round with the final rail down (the heartbreaker!). Looking forward to them hanging out with us for the rest of the week!❤️

First ride of the day and week was a successful one! Each year Carissa and Gracie have come to this show as her birthday present. Two years they showed w/t poles together. Last year was xrails. Today she did her first .65m at a rated show and won her first round! ❤️

The horses finished off great for the weekend! Kimber started us off early again; earning another reserve champion in the working hunters with Liz. Lila finished with 3rds and 4ths in their first time doing 3’ together; jumps were great but the turns by the ingate need improvement (we don’t blame her for having PTSD after how we started this year😬🙈). Allie and Obi won both an open schooling o/f round, and their pleasure commands class. It was their first wknd participating in this division for them! Carissa and Gracie finished off a great week together with more consistency in the .70m division. This is notoriously one of the biggest; most competitive divisions at this show. They managed to place in every round the entire weekend; surpassing Liz’s goal for them as a team together! Jessa and Boeing finished us off for the weekend, yet again winning their hunter u/s. They also placed 3rd in the eq flat and 4,5 in their over fences!

And one more show for the month of June; this time back at grand oaks for the Barbie & Ken themed show! Unfortunately, I had such limited time between shows and some exhaustion…so I did not partake in the costume/designing contests management offered. The furthest I got was pink duct tape on the stalls with the horse’s names and nicknames on them🙈 BUT…the horses have been fabulous. We started showing yesterday; we have one more day tomorrow. Allie and Obi have been champion both days so far. Kimber has been reserve champion both days in the working hunters, reserve yesterday with lila in the high child/adults and won a round today with one of their best yet. Carissa and Gracie have improved show to show and day to day in the .70’s; today they put in 3 solid;smooth rounds for two 3rds and a 5th out of 12! Jessa and Boeing won their eq flat yesterday and their hunter under saddle today in the biggest division of the show, the low child/adults! He is jumping the 2’6” height well but still making baby mistakes as he figures out this show hunter life. Jillian and Stella only showed today, but they were rockstars! For only their second show together (Stella just recently learned how to jump); they finished reserve champion in the puddle jumpers and multiple 3rds,4ths in the open schooling hunters. ❤️

We spent the week at WEC ocala; it was a hot one! But we were spared the rain until last evening before the Grand Prix started. It was a mostly rail kinda week for us, either the very first or the very last-the heartbreakers!! But the horses were great; brave and consistent all week. Friday Jen and Riley had a great day with clear novice adult rounds; finishing 3rd and 4th in a competitive field. Shayde and Cher are getting to know each other; their trip early in the week wasnt the smoothest as trust has to be built, but a couple days later they laid down a beautiful adult 1m for a 4th place finish. It was only their 4th jumping round together as a team; it has made us excited for their future! Sundays novice adult classic rounds for Jen and Riley were a bit heartbreaking with a rail in each, but both showed improvement in their understanding of the questions the course designer was asking and were very respectable rounds after watching some scary crashes earlier in the week😬 we are looking forward to coming back stronger in July, but first we head to grand oaks this coming weekend with a different group of horses!💪🥵🍻

And day 3 was the hottest, but thankfully the majority of the horses were completely done by 10 am❤️ Marin and happy led us off; after a bad Friday showing where they parted ways, today was like his ‘normal’ self. They had good, clear rounds for two 3rds in the puddle jumpers. Presley and dahlia then won a 2’3” round to finish reserve champion in their division❤️ jacqui and Oscar had a brief, but quickly salvaged gps malfunction to finish reserve champion in the child/adult jumpers. Balaton gave lily some trouble in the beginning spooking at jump crew on the side, but she figured it out to have a nice, smooth second round in the child/adults for a 3rd. Beth and Al got better each day as Al relaxed more into his new role as a show hunter. They had an unfortunate rail in their first round, but a smooth second round for a 4th,5th in their xrail division. Corryn and Mac showed for the second time at the 2’9” height; while some mistakes were made, they had one stellar round in the TIP hunters and finished with a reserve champion in the division. Jessa and Boeing finished off our wknd, doing the 2’6” hunters for the second time of their career. He’s still figuring out lead changes, but they’re finally jumping across the fences and keeping a consistent stride. And he flatted even better than yesterday for another 2nd in the under saddle. Great job girls!!! Onto WEC ocala this week!
