Happy Holidays. Destroying everything and everyone you’ve ever loved or needed wreaks havoc if the cycle keeps repeating itself. There are only so many bridges you can burn before you realize it doesn’t matter regardless. You come to a dead end. Born alone, die alone. You can do everything you can to stay numb, but in essence of killing love you turn to killing yourself slowly with substance abuse. But if you find that one glimmer of peace or that one person that gives you hope, you can harvest positivity and love and live a meaningful happy life.
I wrote this song in 2002. I feel like it’s an appropriate time to release it. The video directed hannahreimannmusic comes out on New Year’s Day, 2024. Link in bio.

Lauren, thank you for having me on board your ship. It is a song about courageous acts of self love and kindness.
