🐾 Reuse: Donate items to local shelter, whether it be for the pets they care for (like your old towels and blankets) or donations for them to sell in their thrift store.
🐾 Reuse leashes, collars, and other pet accessory’s.

Medical Monday: 🚨🩺 Microfilaria. Microfilaria are baby heartworms. The little wiggler in the video is one of those baby heartworms, which can be seen in a heartworm positive dogs blood sample 🩸🙀. These babies grow up to be the adult heartworms that live in those dogs (and cats) heart and lungs! Heartworms are carried by mosquitos 🦟. As you can see in the picture, that’s a mosquito that snuck into a staff members home undetected. This is why it’s so important to keep your pets on heartworm prevention year round!
