Announcing the first title in our Dog Olympics Pentathlon series: Hoops!
In the spirit of the 2024 Olympic Games in France this summer, we are hosting our own Doglympics. Over the next six months we will be releasing five limited edition Doglympics titles. Each comes with a limited edition certificate, ribbon, rosette, and patch.

Last week we announced our new Dog Olympics title which is earned by achieving ANY FIVE titles during this year (including trick, fitness, Animal Acting and specialty titles).

The Dog Olympics title is separate from the Pentathlon five titles.

To Earn Your Hoops Title:
Earn your Doglympics Series “Hoops” title by demonstrating any 10 tricks utilizing a hoop. This title challenges you to think about what behaviors your dog CAN do, and then transfer those behaviors to a new trick involving a hoop.
I am a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI) and can evaluate your submission.

Some examples of hoop tricks are:

Jump through a hoop
Jump through two hoops held slightly apart
Fetch a hoop
Sit in a hoop
Peekaboo through my legs with a hoop in front of my legs
Circle around a hoop
Circle around me while jumping through a hoop held in my hand
Spin a circle while holding a hoop in your mouth
Send away to go stand in a hoop
Platform jump; jump from one platform to another while holding a hoop in between
Can you think of more?

❗I am only taking one family of dogs at a time.❗
‼️Dog must be up to date on vaccines, not be showing any signs of illness and no dog parks or daycare for two weeks prior to arriving.‼️

Calendar Shoot 2024

📸 Take 12 posed photos of your dog.

Your photoshoots should utilize modeling skills such as:
Looking at camera or watching a “Look Stick”
Interacting with a prop
Wearing clothes
Being posed in a specific place or in a specific way
Perk Up (alert expression)
Doing a trick (wave, bow, etc)

The 12 photos should comprise a theme, such as one would expect in a calendar. Some examples:
Holidays
Dogs wearing hats [or neckties, socks, etc.]
Dogs with classic cars
Fashion
Dog yoga
Sports
Dogs holding funny things in their mouth
Dogs balancing on unusual things or balancing things on their head

Today is a sad day for me.
Daisy is moving and today was our last day together after training weekly for over 3 years.
I have had so much fun with this old little girl teaching her over 50 different tricks just to keep her mind sharp and her body young.
Wishing her and her mom the best future possible.
